11 HOUR MADNESS

It's one of those days in the midst of the beginning of autumn in Berlin, when two young DJs (@Seemless_dj & @Sambake) and their friends decide to take home the fun experience from the bar. This cozy place, full of warmth and trust, offered the clique the perfect circumstance to start an afterhour of a special kind. An afterhour in which the two track hunters brought out their best in 12 hours and put their friends in ecstasy. All that was left after this wild journey were five hypnotized heads making their way back to the quirky jungle of the German capital. Good morning!

P.S.: Bretterwald? TF? "brett" means board. "Wald" means forrest. We think what these two experts mean by that is a forrest full of boards. And with "Brett", the two associate a strong consistent beat. So a forrest full of strong consistent beats.... so to say ^^

At times the fact that DJs play other peoples´ music tends to fade into the background somewhat. Time to pay them hommage!

In the course of more than 15 years we have encountered a bunch of impressive artists.

It was and still is their music that has made our sets what they are. Some of them came to play at one or the other of our annual GRAND SPORTFEST events in Berlin.

Some musical connections have even evolved into long-standing friendships.
So the idea of kinking up with these special colleagues to create a compilation came easy and a while ago. And much later, finally here it is!

Eleven of our most cherished guest artists have contributed their own tracks to create this showcase.

We´re proud and grateful to be able to present the work of our friends and colleagues in this release!

Chain Two is the second remix compilation on the label New Port Records. Together with artists such as Jan Ritter, Monova, Jan Fleck, Red Rooms, Copilco, Robin Decker and Raphael Hofman, we have generated something new again from already released tracks. We all share the same love for technoid, bass-heavy music. Everything is connected and has a meaning, even if this sense is often hidden, we know that we are close to our true mission when our actions are imbued with the energy, the driving tones, the oppressive bass and the enthusiasm. So we forged an interlocking chain of synthesizer, drums, pads, claps and leads to create something new, tangible. And so we would like to pass on the one to the other and to celebrate the sense of community and cohesion.

WNDRLST - Lost And Found EP - Apocalypse

Straight movin minimalism! The EP kicks off with >Abstract<, which is the name of it. The Track is driven by a strong baseline accompanied by an analogue synthesizer surface, joined by constantly shifting percussions and open hat. A-sided >Jacksons< program, number two on wax, follows a jerkin hi-hat groove that shines over the whole track which never ends and injects a dance catharsis.

B-sided - “You Deserve It" - is probably the quietest track of the EP, but nevertheless is joined by a meditative synth and rolling bass that evolves while a magical vocal accompanies the deep horizon. The never-ending dream of love!

B-sided - "Yes.SN" is a hypnotic perpetuating snare groove that moves the audience and leads to frenzy, rounding off the whole EP. Vinyl only!
