RAD Performance presents concerts in public space, on the road, and in motion, composing and playing while on the move. Pieces of music by different sound artists, the choral movement of the performers on the bicycle, and the dynamics and distance between the moving sound sources create unique soundscapes for the audience. The concerts take place along cycle routes in the city of Vienna and other regions of Austria. A mobile loudspeaker orchestra accompanies the visitors on wheels. The acoustic, urban space complements, overlays, and extends the electronic composition. The bicycle becomes an artistic medium at the crossroads of a concert, performance, and sound art. RAD Performance creates a new way of experiencing urban space by bike.

The aim is to express our world’s state of unrest and anxiety, of technical progress and futuristic dreams. Through rejection in the contemporary club scene which is a loyal byproduct of Technocapitalism, GLOBAL FYRE 2099™ seeks most importantly F.U.N. (Finally Understanding Nothing) and P.L.U.R. (Peace Love Unity Respect) – enjoying on its own terms to define “what electronic club music should be” by dealing with the ultimately unknowable sonic possibilities to create an ecstatic rave journey.

▶️ stroborobo is an underground music gem best known for his hand made modular synth live sets, but recently started to join the ubiquitous DJ realm as well. His mix accompanied our last soundride on our unique route through the city to Brigittenauer Brücke.

zey is a Prague/Vienna based DJ. Their creativity is a tool of liberation - their own and of others. In relation to their own Black*queer lived experience, they are primarily sharing the sonic emancipatory potentials of queer creatives of the African Diaspora. Genre is not as important to them as exploring and mapping links between spaces and sharing electronic and bass music from Africa, Euro-American landscapes and Black Latin America.
