We told you Bennie was on a roll right now and we weren’t lying… We’ve only just had time to rest our trigger fingers after the chaos of his & Dread MC’s “One Gun Finger”, but now it’s time to get them fired up again as we have four more rave whoppers incoming from the man of the moment.

We’re ecstatic to present Bennie’s debut Born On Road EP, which is a gleaming showcase of the talent this young artist possesses. From the carnage of the bassline in “Mercenary” to the exotic sounds of “Blackbelt” to the hectic jungle breaks in “Goose Chase” with Ozone, this EP is testament to the attitude of new wave D&B producers like Bennie, who are capable of rolling out a wide range of styles in their production. It’s no surprise why Bennie was nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ in Drum&BassArena’s 2022 awards – the first of many nominations we feel.

Summer is the season for shellers, and we’ve just received a nuclear weapon from our very own Carashelly. You may have heard this dub setting off levels in our sets recently. Linking up with Crossy, “Transmitter” is a guaranteed rave stomper with Carasel’s wicked lyrics and Crossy’s immaculate production. But what more did you expect? Getting these two members of the Born On Road family together on a release was always going to be mega – and it’s made even more special by it being Carasel’s first on the label (who would have thought!) Belgium has proven to be a fertile breeding ground for drum&bass music, what with artists like Netsky and Murdock and events like Rampage and Invaderz.

The surge of jump-up that catered to Belgian crowds specifically was so significant that the term ‘Belgian Jump Up’, although coined over 5 years ago, still rings a bell today. That wave of hard-hitting, nerve-wrecking dancefloor beats produced a number of producers that have grown into mature artists, and one of its prime examples is Basstripper. Exploring and finetuning every single corner of his skillset has made him one of the most sought-after cats on the scene today, with everyone from A.M.C to Andy C, Hazard to Wilkinson trying to get their hands on his latest productions.

With plenty of time on his hands, now his weekly schedule of raves has been shut down, Basstripper set out to make the best collection of work he’s released so far. From the sci-fi sounds of Battle Axe to the mesmerizing melody of Laminar Flow, past the foghorn of Sleeping Pills and the bassline funk of Woofer, this EP truly has it all and aims to cement Basstripper as a man of many talents.
