Ended up at second place just behind Danko and Jogeir Liljedahl. To think that a lot of people thought that my little big Amiga chippy was almost as good as a tune by Danko and Jogeir is mindblowing.

送られたピクセルアートを元にチップチューンを作るというコンセプトで、正反対に映る二人の人の絵から二面性に発想を飛ばし、覆い隠された内面の2つの自分に葛藤をするものの、やがてはその運命を享受する様子を曲にしました。

this song was produced as part of the Pi X Chip compilation organized by Shinoriyu（しのりゅー）
the concept was to create a chiptune based on pixel art that was sent to me. so i was inspired by the duality of the two brothers, who appear to be opposites, and wrote a song about how they struggle with their two masked inner selves, but eventually embrace their destinies.

It's been forever (ok, 14 years) since I last released a tune without there being some external motivator. Feels good!

This was composed and mixed in SunVox, mostly on my Android phone on my way to and from work, during the course of a couple of months. I rarely make things easy for myself... But I thrive on overcoming restrictions! This was mainly an attempt to create something a bit jazzier than I usually do, and to continue teaching myself proper production techniques using very basic tools.

All the instruments are fully synthesized using the builtin modules, except for the drums which are partially sample based. Final mastering (ran the file through a limiter...) done in Audacity on my PC. The rest is pure SunVox.
