Whist at the time of writing, the format of this years Amsterdam Dance Event is still being decided, one thing is certain, the music and spirt of the festival is stronger than ever!
 
ADE connects a global electronic music community which is reflected this in our 2021 sampler, bringing together homegrown Dutch talent alongside artists from Europe, South America, and The Middle East.
 
The full melodic spectrum is represented, from deep progressive beats and emotional vocals to the tougher kicks and astral synths found at the darker end of melodic techno. 
 
7 new artists join the sequence family as part of the sampler, and we welcome back Zieze for his second outing on the label.

After one year since the previous Various Artists X, the Milanese label Just This returns with a new compilation of 9 tracks. Together with artists who have been on the label for several years, we find new producers such as Fur Coat, Julian Wassermann and Øostil.
Dark and hypnotic atmospheres join other more melodic and dreamy ones defining the sound that has always characterized the label.

For Radikon catalog number 37, Naeiiv once again conjures the ghosts of his wildly pitching machines: detuned synths that oscillate between playful and somber set to monumental soundscapes are the protagonists in 'Castles of Illusion'.

The title track is an anthem to reminisce and get lost to. 'Castles of Illusion' is a beautifully arranged ocean of hovering synths and washed-out atmospheres, a hypnotic dreamscape filled with feeling and nostalgia.

'Variation in Modification' combines seeming opposites. A phasing carpet of synths sizzling with electricity set to heavenly guitar chords strike a compelling balance between energy and serenity.

To close the year 2021, Oddity presents the long awaited various artists, Odd Echoes vol. 5, loaded with hypnotic melodic cuts from new and returning artists.

The V.A, showcases the label's cohesive, yet diverse and evolving melodic sound, with a number of artists brought together to create this magical journey.

Opening the V.A label boss Fur Coat delivers a new collaboration with Alfa Romero, introducing us to the construction of the deepest, most ethereal and melodic sounds, where artists like Adamant, Baime, aacht, Esoteric Circle and Andrea Martini show a coherent crescendo in the timeline of the compilation.

Continuing the story, we can see new names joining the record label like Casper Cole, Rinzen, Jos & Eli, delivering some diverse melancholic yet euphoric cuts.

Digging further into the compilation, sounds like those of the collaboration of Jonas Saalbach and Tantum, or the originals by Remcord, Lexer, SOEL, 19:26, Beswerda, Sascha Breamer bring a touch of darkness that transport us to another dimension in sound.

Last but not least, Aalson, The Element MT, Daijan ft. Running Pine, Black Peters and Jody Barr, present some closing-oriented emotional cuts, with some of them including some breaks or experimenting with some unique synths and textures, to ensure the perfect closure to this story we call Odd Echoes.

For track three, Naeiiv unleashes a cascade of monumental energy. Heavily modulated synths and pads create the cinematic backdrop for a powerful arp to work its magic. 'Magnetic Halls' is epochal, soaring, majestic.
