‘Pastel Skies’ is the title of the first EP by Paul Schmidpeter on EMPORE. The Nuremberg based artist delivers three strong originals, ranging from percussive grooves over melodic four to the floor moments to broken beats. The EP ends with a remix of ‘Gritty Dreams’ by Belgrad’s talent Illusory, who applies a delicate breakbeat treatment to the original and thereby ends things on an epic note.

Like in the begining, Triphop was inspiring me. It's time to publish this project.
Some synthese from Studiologic Sledge 2.0. Beats on Roland MC-707.
I was use some loops (hard bass). Arps was done on Studiologic Sledge 2.0 too.
VST Plugins for punchy basses (KickShaper and Bassshaper), Widefire, some effects like Hybrid Reverb from Ableton. EQ Eight, Compressors with sidechains and my lovely Filter delay.
