When this @redlegonaroll  set landed at Sentinel HQ, we realized:  this isn't just a mix. 
It’s a third date.

Off course, all in the form of a 100% vinyl-only session from our dear friend and one of our absolute favorite selectors: Mr. Fatpack himself...

The one, the only…...     wait.

“I want to take things slowly. Is that okay with you?"
"You’re not like those other girls.”

“I feel the same way,” she whispers. 
 “But what are we, then? What is this?”

“What do you mean, ‘we’?” he answers, his voice steady.  
“I am Max. You are You. We’re just two individuals attracted to eachother.”

“Max, huh?”
“Yeah. Just Max.”

“Okay, Max. Let's see what you are all about.”

She thought:  "Funny, his name was "Max", with all those  12” Maxi records laying around in the corner while his moves are just another boyish exercise in 'restraint'

But damn, does he proceed slowly, balancing tension and release without ever breaking the spell, maintaining that signature, effortless “roll.”

There is no ear-fatigue here. No "maxxed-out" bangers, and surely no ego-driven solos. 

You clearly don’t know Max yet. He is a pleaser as much as he is a teaser; a gentleman of energy.

"It’s weird how just an hour ago I walked into this still completely stranger’s house…"

 “Hey. Good to see you. Make yourself at home. What are you drinking?”

In those first moments, the air is thick. Awkward. You ask yourself: Can I let my guard down? Can I trust him? Are we really doing this?!

You keep repeating to yourself: Real transcendence only exists beyond the reptilian brain. You can't be focusing on finding possible exits, otherwise, the ritual fails. 

After a few more drinks and playful jokes... the energy shifts. Your guard finally drops. And before you know it, you are going Off Course /w Redleg on a Roll   @redlegonaroll

We first crossed paths with Danny (@beaton-4) at the Solis Arcadia Festival, and then again, almost as if the universe insisted, in the sun-soaked heart of Sanremo, where he closed out Piña’s beach party with an absolutely spellbinding set.

California-born, an Australian transplant now calling London home, Danny Bodega is a masterful record selector, a thoughtful host of intimate gatherings and, above all, a true gentleman with a warm and generous spirit.

For the Tiger Tapes series, he recorded a full vinyl session, delivering a hypnotic and beautifully nuanced selection from start to finish.
