The Younger Than Me debut on Warning hits hard with two powerful original cuts and sharp remixes. The Early Sound Of Nothing is a deep Rave belter driven by the 90s reminiscences that YTM is known and loved for. Maruwa gently coats his production in a slick mix of uplifting House and funky Trance, perfect for an energetic morning workout. On the flip Counter Future turns it up creating a meltdown of choral Speedtrance before the EP gets finished with another rework by Sophie du Palais who takes the track into a deep bath for a round of sinister Ketamine sex.

For the third time this month the place was had been ransacked. There was shattered glass everywhere, the curtains had been slashed to pieces, and clothes lay strewn across the floor. It was almost as chaotic as the thoughts that clouded his mind; maybe he'd brought this mess on himself? Perhaps his actions had sealed his fate and he'd simply have to deal with the consequences? Again. He knew the aftermath would be catastrophic but he prayed this would be the last time he'd be punished...

Under his given name Mexican producer Alex Aguayo has made a name for himself through his dark, synth-driven electronics which have formed releases on the likes of Paradiso Records, Fucanglong Files, Night Noise and more. His other alias Mahkina is more focused on trance-tinged sounds, moving between slow burners, progressive goodness and straight-up euphoria. So far he's released EPs on for Haunted Space and U're Guay, and now he's hopping across the pond to Barcelona via Argentina imprint Diffuse Reality for his debut long player which brings together all those flavours in one.

He had the skills, that much was clear. As he walked through the door everybody would look and stare as he meandered slowly through the diner with a kind of swagger not typically associated with your average street cat. He’d worked hard to earn his respect in the street – hustling hard wasn’t easy as the underdog.

However, that didn’t mean that there weren’t some pesky type characters who might never seen him for more than the high tech low life he really was.

As the music played loud he’d wave and smile from time to time at the passers by gazed and glanced at his meticulous demeanour and banging persona.

Remotif is back with a bang. A new EP on space lab roars triumphantly and takes us higher channeling progressive influences from Trance and beyond. This one is quite the trip…
