what we find episode fourteen featuring @_andriy_k___ - aka cusoon dj - Berlin based producer, live performer and dj. Andriy creates experimental club music and live listening performances, absorbing reflection of your reality with releases on labels like oscilla sound, related articles, and surf.

His latest release ‘Poetry of the Vanished Territories’ is an audiovisual exploration of central and southern Ukraine's landscapes, capturing memories of fading places that linger between what was and what remains. Using open source data and field recordings from locations, he blends fragments of reality, nature and memory.

For this feature, the mix drifts through the off-season of life, a time suspended between endings and awakenings. Melancholic, organic textures echo the hush of retreat, only to dissolve into the warm pulse of slow, luminous dub. To clean, to breathe.

Texas native Gi Gi deals in head-down propulsive music. He’s released on a cast of labels including Good Morning Tapes (AUS), Quiet Time (USA), and INDEX:Records (UK/DE). Utilizing a collage-based approach that takes in a wide swath of source material, the result is a peculiar strain of ambient dance music equally at home in headphones or the back rooms of a club. 

As a DJ, the introspection that characterizes his music echoes throughout, but the net is cast wider. The energy inches upwards, and styles that trace contours in his productions present themselves more directly. Gi Gi brings nuance and warmth to his DJing, nudging dancers towards reflection and loungers towards movement.

來自德州的 Gi Gi 擅長製作深邃且具推進感的音樂。他曾於多個廠牌發行作品，包括 Good Morning Tapes (澳洲)、Quiet Time (美國) 和 INDEX:Records (英國/德國)。他的創作運用拼貼式手法，採納大量不同來源的素材，產生出一種獨特的氛圍舞曲，無論是透過耳機聆聽或在俱樂部的後場空間，都能自在呈現。

作為 DJ，他的音樂特有的內省特質依然存在，但風格更為廣泛，能量逐步升溫。那些在他製作作品中較為隱晦的風格線條，在他的 DJ 演出中則更加鮮明直接。Gi Gi 的 DJ 風格細膩且充滿溫度，能引導舞者進入思考，也促使靜坐的聽眾隨之起舞。

what we find episode sixteen featuring somethingmaker - Based in Saigon (HCMC), Vũ is a multidisciplinary artist working across sound, poetry, visual arts. His sound focuses on the atmospheric, an ecosystem between the speakers. Insect-like tendencies, air and water, organic and non-organic blur together. He co-organizes Tắm Đêm_nightswim, a fluid platform for sound, poetry, and performance. His poetry and photography appeared in Noone Magazine issue 2 (Netherlands), and he has exhibited in group shows across Vietnam.

For this edition, he has prepared an unreleased hour of music. A series of slow morning movements, sonic sketches of environmental sounds and soft melodies, as fragile as insect wings.

Somethingmaker's music has made regular features on past what we find shows, so it's a pleasure to now welcome him onto the series to share an hour of unreleased music recorded in early 2025.

For Trushmix 131 we have a special interesting mix by Italian DJ, former record store owner and deep music digger Giovanni Turiaco from Padova. And exciting musical peek into old-school Italian club culture, during the mid eighties till early nineties, when Italy had a strong, influential and also a very interesting period of electronic music and strong club scene, with the super clubs providing a room for an experimental approach, but yet danceable party culture for the bigger masses. Before it all went away. Giovanni Turiaco was part of this and playing alongside the big ones from that era. But he never went along the later commercial club scene, he kept it underground and his passion for good music, deep digging and vinyl never faded away.

Radio 80000 is a non-commercial online radio from Munich and was founded in April 2015. It functions as a platform, promoting collaboration and cultural expression through music, dialogue and events throughout Germany. Currently more than 160 contributors regularly broadcast shows from Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Hamburg and Vienna.

At Radio 80000, established and emerging musicians, DJs and artists as well as music enthusiasts without any professional ambitions engage in what has become an intensive exchange – offering a unique selection of timeless and contemporary music, with quality always being the top priority.

Since its foundation, the radio has grown into a network that unites individuals, leading to new collaborations between artists, labels and institutions inter/nationally.
