Une première partie tout en progression avec Stepanov qui navigue entre Slow Trance, Breaks et Progressive. Puis c'est au tour de NotSerious BIGS, DA et programmateur du Super5 : une sélection tout en énergie entre Trance , Electro et Techno 90. 

2 sets hybrides et éclectiques pour 2 définitions du Visual Rhythms.

Stepanov a débuté dans la musique électronique avec la Techno Minimale de Richie Hawtin et de son label Minus, et la Néo-trance de James Holden et des membres de Border Community.

On retrouve ce goût pour les esthétiques tranchées dans ses sets : Ambient, Downtempo, UK House, Tribal, Electronica, Breaks... Stepanov affectionne les percussions et n'hésite pas à jongler avec les styles et les énergies.

Un adage que NotSerious BIGS confirme avec sa carrière longue d’une quinzaine d’années derrière les platines. Après avoir écumé les clubs de Lyon, viennent se greffer cette année les casquettes de Directeur Artistique et DJ résident de l’incontournable Super5. Piochant tant dans l’EBM, le New Beat, la House et la Trance Progressive, ses sets sont un parcours à travers les époques et les genres.

To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

The Labyrinthの20周年を記念して、過去10年間を振り返り、それぞれの年からひとつのミックスをピックアップすることにしました。イベントの歴史を記録すると同時に、過去10年間のアンダーグラウンドエレクトロニックミュージックの歴史的なスナップショットを提供します。今聞いても色褪せない、タイムレスな極上のミックスをお楽しみください。

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

Nouvel épisode de Visual Rhythms, l'émission qui explore la notion de synesthésie à travers les musiques électroniques. 

Pour ce seconde épisode, c'est REN qui invite Natural Limit. 

Désireux d’explorer un large éventail de styles, Natural Limit perçoit chaque disque comme une nouvelle expérience sonore. Maniant l'atmosphère d'une manière colorée et progressive, sa musique a pour but de rappeler de vieux sentiments vécus quelque part au fond d’une forêt, ou dans un endroit rempli de gens que vous aimez. Les deux peut-être.

Ses récents passages à La Vallée Électrique, à La Rotonde Stalingrad ou au Chalet Perché empilent les pépites, entre mélodies psychédéliques et ambiances introspectives, qu'il partage sur sa chaîne YouTube mais aussi via son propre label Virtual Forest Records.

Natural Limit propose une exploration sonore entre Breaks, Electro et Trance. 

Ensuite, c'est au tour de REN de jouer avec nos sens dans une approche Brain Dance, Breaks et Progressive.

Pour ce 3ème épisode de Visual Rhythms, Stepanov invite @maia-neel. 

Maïa Neel est une jeune auteure de bande dessinée basée à Lyon. Dans ses activités d’auteure et de dj, elle partage son goût pour la narration et les histoires. 
Maïa est membre du projet @unitsoeurs , qui a pour objectif de promouvoir la scène électronique féminine lyonnaise. 

Maia est également fondatrice d'ALTAR : un projet de livestream vidéo qui a pour vocation de promouvoir des jeunes artistes. 

Quelques mots sur son set : 

“L’idée de raccorder des sons à des concepts visuels ou sensoriels se rapporte totalement à la vision que j’ai du mix. On peut en effet chercher à aller au-delà de la musique « de danse » et faire naître de réelles sensations (physiques et mentales) chez l’auditeur. C’est ce que j’ai essayé de mettre en avant dans mon set.”

À travers une sélection qui mêle breaks, IDM, electro et downtempo, l’auditeur est invité à entrer dans un univers mélancolique, mélodique et puissant. 

Pour la seconde partie, @stepanov-dj jongle entre trip-hop, deep techno, acid et trance. Comme à son habitude, il s’amuse à agencer les styles, rythmes et textures.

Nouvelle exploration de la synesthésie en compagnie de @martaetlescoquillages et de @subvers-moment 

Marta & les Coquillages est un alter ego d'Anide, artiste multidisciplinaire et fondateur du projet ""The Theatre of Reverie"". Abordant la musique comme un récit, Marta évolue entre différentes atmosphères, genres et esthétiques.

Choisissant des musiques dans diverses scènes et lignes de temps, sa sélection psychédélique, lente et lancinante est une invitation à se connecter à notre monde intérieur par l'imagination...

La musique a le pouvoir de créer une connexion profonde avec nous-mêmes.

C'est la raison pour laquelle liut joue depuis plus de 15 ans. Il joue pour permettre aux individus de retrouver leurs sens, de retrouver la paix et la joie...

Après un 1er épisode orienté Techno bass / Techno dub, @stepanov-dj a convié son ami D3 pour un podcast dancefloor et groove. 

Pour la première partie, D3 propose un mix entre Electro groove, Hardgroove, Tribal techno et progressive. Stepanov s'occupe de la seconde partie avec un set Techno 90'/2000', Hard House et acid.
