Today's transmission is delivered by Lithuanian artist Erikas aka Roudtraxx. As an eager and restless digger, Erikas has been involved in the Lithuanian music scene for over 5 years at various record shops, clubs, bars, and festival nights. In addition to this, he is a crew member of independent community voice of Radio Vilnius.

In the words of Roudtraxx "I feel glad to contribute, devote and stay true to myself. Music culture & the scene guide to interesting feelings, discoveries, understandings. Even a simple hour-long DJ mix may impact."

Expect hints of a rolling acid, twangy tech and progressive house.

YOURHIGHNESS (YSS AUDIO / ROLLERBOYS) 

Yourhighness has been dj-ing since the mid-nineties and his eclectic style of DJ-ing has not only made him a name in Sweden but also internationally with appearances in Berlin, London, Paris, Barcelona, Moscow, Zürich, New York, and so on. 

Between 1999-2004 He run the imprint Maracas, releasing industrial techno, at first music by himself and fellow producer Liberg in the duo Liberg & Wikstrom, and later artists such as: Go-Hiyama, Tuomas Rantanen, Archae & Grovskopa. 

In summer 2006 he founded the Club Rollerboys with college Mans, which later evolved into Rollerboys Recordings releasing a string of epic masterpieces including artists like: Bogdan Irkuk a.k.a. Bulgari, Mark Seven, Discodromo, Ultracity, Prins Thomas, Mark E and Fabrizio Mammarella to name a few. 

Over the last couple of years Yourhighness has been producing a lot of remixes and solo- releases on the labels such as: 
Cocktail d'Amore,  Rett I Fletta (run by Prins Thomas) Born Free, Baenger, Rollerboys Recordings). 
In the duo Ultracity with fellow producer Raam, he has released numerous releases and remixes on Rollerboys Recordings and other labels dating back as far as 2007.

Storken & JStaaf recently returned from their highly anticipated Mexico tour, showcasing their latest release "Tunghugg," which is now available on the renowned @RunningBack label. We had the pleasure of hosting these talented artists for our bi-weekly broadcast at Lykke Nytorget last Thursday, and the vibe was electric.

Let's begin by introducing @storkenmusic, a DJ/producer with a unique blend of influences. Born in '93, Storken grew up in a musical family in the Swedish countryside, where he was deeply inspired by 80’s icons like Phil Collins, Queen, and Tina Turner. Early exposure to music led him to explore various instruments such as drums, guitars, piano, and turntables, all while developing a passion for underground electronic genres. Storken masterfully combines the progressive elements of his Swedish heritage with an electronic disco style, resulting in a captivating musical fusion.

Storken's debut release, "Lille Vals," on the esteemed label Running Back, as well as his debut EP, "Skogsdisko," have received recognition from respected figures in the industry, including @Annie Mac, @Pete Tong, @Folamour, @The Blessed Madonna, @PurpleDisco Machine, @Patrick Topping, @Andhim, and @Krystal Klear. These endorsements are a testament to Storken's exceptional talent and his ability to create music that resonates with a wide audience.

Now, let's turn our attention to @J_staaf, a versatile artist known for crafting dynamic sets filled with playful grooves and always keeping some light present in his music. With releases on labels like @Days Like Nights/Armada, @Beatfreak Records, @Running Back, @NEIN, @Espacio Cielo, @Storkenland, and @Gods Groove, JStaaf has built a reputation for his vibrant and colorful tunes. While his musical style may vary, one thing remains consistent: JStaaf's compositions are infused with light and a commitment to delivering a good time.

With one foot in the heart of Stockholm and the other in the soul of the Swedish hills, Storken's artistic evolution continues to unfold as he forges a path that effortlessly bridges past and present, forging a new wave of disco on the global map.

It feels gooood, to be back! And what an amazing start with no other than ABSTRAXION from Marseille, France cooking our little sweet spot LYKKE on Söder into a hotpot. Mixing that stretches genres, ages and intensities. A real deliverance. Rumours has it this might not be the last time we see him..

Harold Boué, aka Lion’s Drums and Abstraxion, is a French producer based in Marseille.
The desire to explore different musical territories to his Abstraxion alias led to Lion’s Drums’s birth.  As a tribute to his city, Marseille, Lion’s Drums creates music with its characteristics in mind: a bit rough though luminous and influenced by elements of the Mediterranean, African, and Northern European. This translates into heavily percussive sounds, italo-disco grooves, tribal house and voodoo-techno.

Lion’s Drums released a first EP on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs, made a psychedelic acid remix of “Goca Dunya” (Altin Gün), and in 2021 released his first album “Kagabas”.  “Kagabas” is an audio project comprising new compositions based on field recordings of original songs the Kagabas people sing to wild animals and their habitat.

A second artist album, “La Batterie”, was released on Berlin-based Cocktail d’Amore (2022).  Lion’s Drums nailed it with his edits for Sandy B’s classics “Student Nights” & “Amajovi Jovi”.
Harold also runs Biologic Records with partner in crime DC Salas.
