As head of renowned label Spearhead Records, BCee’s golden ear has introduced a galaxy of new talent to the world. Artists like SPY, Netsky & Technimatic cut their teeth at the label, rubbing shoulders with scene giants like Danny Byrd and Alix Perez. BCee’s love of discovering and developing young, promising artists such as Hybrid Minds, Dexcell and LSB makes him a natural fit with the Clinic ethos.

After starting his DJ career in 1995, BCee fell in love with the sound of musical Drum & Bass. Teaming up with Kubiks, the duo launched Rubik Records in 2002 with their debut production ‘Life Changes’. In 2005 he teamed up with Lomax (Loadstar) and together they released more than thirty tracks on labels including Innerground, Fokuz, Nu:Directions and more.

BCee has released over 200 tracks and remixes across 6 studio albums, 2 remix albums and a whole load of singles and EPs.  Some of his most notable tracks include:  Is Anybody Out There? feat. S.P.Y, Back To The Street feat. Philippa Hanna, Firebox, Come & Join Us, Lost & Found feat. Rocky Nti and Northpoint feat. Riya.

BCee has also remixed tracks by P Money, Camo & Krooked, Jakwob, Blu Mar Ten, Hybrid Minds and a whole lot more.

In 2005 BCee launched Spearhead Records, which rapidly developed from a simple record label into a fully-fledged event brand. Having outgrown Brixton’s Plan B and Shoreditch’s Village Underground, BCee’s ‘Spearhead Presents’ club events go from strength to strength.  Alongside their current residency at the massive five-room EGG:LDN, Spearhead continues to tour the brand both at home and away.  With guest appearances at venues like London’s Fabric & Prague’s Cross Club, boat parties and festival stage takeovers, ‘Spearhead Presents’ is a force to be reckoned with.

BCee is also one half of prolific duo The Vanguard Project.

# Maverick #

Andreas Trümper has long since made a name for himself in the Thuringian drum & bass scene with his DJ sets and productions. Once known as 'Truempman', the Erfurt native has been making music under the name 'Maverick' since 2014.
When he joined the Rock'n'Rule Entertainment Crew in 2009, the musical career of the native of Eichsfeld began. Due to the fast pace of today's Drum&Bass, Maverick already gained a lot of experience and impressions in different sub-types of this music. Today, his sets and productions are a crossover of harmonic liquid drum&bass, deep basslines and classic break elements from jungle. Thus, versatile and varied mixing is a guarantee at every party.
In addition to his work as the creative head of the Sector 8 Crew, the Thuringian is co-founder of the PunchBlog homepage. The still young project provides its readers with the latest facts from the drum & bass world on a weekly basis and is an event calendar for the German-speaking region. Furthermore, Maverick is part of the Addictive Beatz project, which is an association of various artists, including his Sector 8 colleague Janosh.
Most recently, Andreas convinced his audience at various parties in his hometown of Erfurt. But he has also celebrated successes in cities like Leipzig, Kassel and Jena.

RADIO ELECTRONICA was one of the first independent radio programmes to go on air in Jena in 1999. The background was to bring colour into the dreary Thuringian radio programme and to create a platform where regional and national artists from the electronic music scene could present themselves and exchange ideas. RADIO ELECTRONICA claims to be always on the trail of new influences, trends and artists in the field of electronic music.

The show quickly developed from the first pre-productions to a live broadcast, which can be heard every four weeks on Saturdays from 7pm to midnight on the open channel Jena on UKW 103.4 Mhz and via online stream (https://radio-okj.de/wp-content/themes/radiookj/okj-player.html).

With a steadily growing fan base, RADIO ELECTRONICA is still a firm institution in the field of electronic music in Jena and beyond the city limits. Besides the latest scene trends and record presentations, studio guests are a big part of the show.
