A producer whose sonic calibre and idiosyncrasy encapsulate how the deep and
minimal spectrum of drum and bass sounds at its best, Austria-based Geostatic
is firmly stamping his name on the scene via his unique influx of stripped-back
drums, shades of melancholy, and a catalogue of music that sounds at home in
the dance.
Instantly falling in love with the genre after attending Urban Arts Forms Festival
in 2012, where he was acquainted with the music of Camo &amp; Krooked, Phace &amp;
Misanthrop, and Alix Perez, Geostatic quickly began to nurture his newfound
admiration for all sonics at 170BPM. After beginning to DJ in 2015, he quickly
ventured into the avenue of production in 2016. Since then, he has played the
likes of Outlook Festival and Lakeside Festival, as well as releasing music via
imprints such as Delta 9 Recordings, Transparent Audio, Incurzion Audio, EKOU
Recordings and many more. Geostatic is at the forefront of the Austrian Drum
&amp; Bass scene and is in noway looking to stop anytime soon.

RADIO ELECTRONICA was one of the first independent radio programmes to go on air in Jena in 1999. The background was to bring colour into the dreary Thuringian radio programme and to create a platform where regional and national artists from the electronic music scene could present themselves and exchange ideas. RADIO ELECTRONICA claims to be always on the trail of new influences, trends and artists in the field of electronic music.

The show quickly developed from the first pre-productions to a live broadcast, which can be heard every four weeks on Saturdays from 7pm to midnight on the open channel Jena on UKW 103.4 Mhz and via online stream (https://radio-okj.de/wp-content/themes/radiookj/okj-player.html).

With a steadily growing fan base, RADIO ELECTRONICA is still a firm institution in the field of electronic music in Jena and beyond the city limits. Besides the latest scene trends and record presentations, studio guests are a big part of the show.
