In this show, I'll invite masters in their genres and try to blend with their styles, of course I'll always stick to my character and what I love to play ! 

In this series, you'll find many differents artists and genres going through breakbeat, bass, dubstep and jungle, but also reggaeton, amapiano, afrobeat, shatta, baile funk and of course ghetto-tech, booty-trance, hardgroove, speedbass and speed garage...

Heavy Machinery Records is proud to present ’TIE-EE-YIE-EE-YIE-EE-YIME', the stunning debut full length album from Melbourne electronic producer Female Wizard.

Female Wizard has been a stalwart of the Melbourne dance music scene since taking up DJing in 2014. She initially made her mark by gathering and sharing a vast classic house record collection under the name Brooke Powers, playing feature sets at Golden Plains, Dark Mofo and Red Bull Music Academy’s Transliminal, The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, and many more.

In 2019, Female Wizard took on her now trademark experimental and innovative DJ style. Exploring the weirder sides of techno, industrial, IDM and more, this style aims to create collective transcendence through powerful sonic immersion. Female Wizard’s debut at a Boiler Room and Discwoman collaborative event was followed by headlining sets at Hybrid Festival and Soft Centre, as well as mixes for Discwoman, and Boiler Room’s Hard Dance mix series. In 2020, Female Wizard made the shift to music production, releasing her first EP 'Messy-Podge-Mania' on local label Anterograde.

braintranscription (er/ihm) ist hauptzuständiger für jungle-angelegenheiten im gem. seine sets verbinden modernen und oldschool-sound und sind dabei atmosphärisch, funky und sehr energetisch. Für sein Adventskalender-Set hat er versucht den winterlichen Vibe einzufangen und sich an älteren und ruhigeren Tracks zu orientieren. Außerdem produziert er auch selber Musik und es wird bald eigene Tracks von ihm zu hören geben also stay tuned!

braintranscription (he/him) is the main man in charge of jungle affairs at gem. his sets combine modern and oldschool sound and are atmospheric, funky and very energetic. For his advent calendar set, he tried to capture the wintry vibe and orientate himself on older and quieter tracks. He also produces music himself and will soon be releasing his own tracks, so stay tuned!

No Scrubs est un projet musical visant à promouvoir les artistes qui incarnent l'univers musical de ses deux fondatrices Soa & Aasana, il a pour volonté d'y développer deux facettes, celle de la fête et celle du label. Ses esthétiques musicales sont sans arrêt en évolution mais elles gravitent principalement autour des musiques plus ou moins club orientée bass, breaks, reggaeton, dancehall etc... Pour la première émission, on reçoit les artistes Same O et Islyz pour deux interviews autour de leurs parcours, puis le DJ set de Same O enregistré à la Pepperbox party du 44 Tours !

It's a genre I'm very familiar with and I always loved to play it, I think it's the only genre I used to play for my first years of DJing and that I still play today so I hope you'll enjoy it !
