Framework presents the first edition of TOWER Imports, a limited mix series designed to incorporate international artists into New York's TOWER project. 

The inaugural mix comes from experimental Italian musician, DJ, & producer @ikavapii. Exploring abstract and detailed club-adjacent music with releases on @earlyreflex and @pampsychia, the London-based artist driven by a playful approach to sound design and unconventional structures. With this mix, they initiate explorations of waterlogged sonics in preparation for the next edition of TOWER, February 29 at Bossa Nova Civic Club in Brooklyn.

Framework presents the sophomore edition of TOWER Imports, a limited mix series designed to incorporate international artists into New York's TOWER project. 

This entry comes from born and raised Amsterdam producer, DJ, and multidisciplinary artist @Yb3L. Throughout the mix, they establish several long-distance, electrical connections in preparation for the next edition of TOWER, April 25 at Bossa Nova Civic Club in Brooklyn.

"To those that follow forward radio channels such as Kiosk and Future Intel, as well as clubs like Garage Noord and POING, the name Yb3L should ring a big bell. Through heavy breaks, bouncy rhythms, futuristic bass and infectious bangers with a mystical touch, this rising DJ/producer is pervading the most adventurous areas of the Dutch scene. Hello tout le monde! Vous écoutez Arabstract Digging, l‘émission dédiée aux musiques et culture du Mashriq au Maghreb.
Pour cet épisode j'ai voulu rendre Hommage à la musique Égyptienne à travers des extrait des musiques de film des parodies musicales d'époque et bien entendus des classiques intemporelles.
J’ai vraiment pris plaisir à réaliser cette sélection car elle m’ a rappelé beaucoup de moment de mon enfance quand je regardais la télé ou des VHS durant mes vacances au maroc dans les années 90, et c’est sans plus attendre que je vais vous partager cette sélection. Bonne écoute !
