Natural de Uruguaiana (RS), Alec Araujo carrega em sua trajetória mais de três décadas dedicadas à música eletrônica.
Desde o início de sua carreira, em 1990, suas raízes latinas e espanholas moldaram um estilo autêntico, marcado por sets intensos, hipnóticos e envolventes, capazes de manter as pistas vibrando por horas a fio.

Com visão empreendedora, mudou-se para Porto Alegre, onde rapidamente conquistou espaço nas principais pistas, clubs, festivais e raves do Sul do país.
Seu carisma e consistência o levaram além das fronteiras, se apresentando em eventos pela América do Sul e dividindo line-ups com grandes nomes da música eletrônica mundial, como Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, DJ Marky, Anderson Noise, Mau Mau, Renato Ratier e Gui Boratto.

Autodidata na produção musical, Alec desenvolveu uma assinatura sonora elegante e emocional, com remixes e versões exclusivas que unem nostalgia e modernidade.
Reconhecido pelo lendário Wolfgang Flür (Kraftwerk), que afirmou:

Growing up in Buffalo, NY, J Lauda had the benefit of Toronto being just an hour away. 
Here, he was able to witness the explosion of a world class dance scene. 
On a more local level, he also was able to experience the fertile electronic underground of which swept Buffalo by storm.

These experiences have left an imprint that still helps shape his sound today, leading to a string of well-received singles and remixes on: Mango Alley, Odd One Out, Manual Music,  Pangea Recordings, SLC-6 Music, Massive Harmony, Soundteller, AH Digital, Slideways, MK837, Polyptych, Mistique Music & More.

Lauda's musical style consists of mind-bending melodics with punchy drums to keep the dance floor in a hypnotic groove.  
His music has gotten radio show support from Chicane, Yotto, CLR Radio, Sebastian Busto, Mateo Paz, Alec Araujo, Tim Penner and many others.

As a DJ, Lauda keeps the same momentum as his productions by mixing together punchy, yet hypnotic grooves.  He is always
committed to taking his listeners on a journey and believes strongly in telling a story through every set.

Considered as an artist in constant evolution, Alec is one of the best brazillian electronic music producers with more releases abroad.

The constant search for perfection in his creations have brought the tracks included on national and international compilations of great labels. 

Productions and remixes by Alec Araujo are found in the cases and tracklistings of established artists in the world electronic scene. With many productions spread all over Brazil and in the world, Alec is pointed as a good professional either from the public’s point of view or other artists.

As a result of all his work as a producer, he became one of the most important artist in the south of Brazil and one of the most promising producers of the country, playing in clubs like Warung and D-Edge.

The productions has a lot of supports from known djs/producers such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfould, Guy Mantzur, Darin Epsilon, Pole Folder and many others.

His rmxs of  “Neon Lights” and “Vitamin” from Kraftwerk received big support of national and world-wide djs, including support of Wolfgang Fluer, Kraftwerk former. He said: “I love your rmxs of Neon Lights". Also included Alec in his book Ï Was A Robot”.


His monthly show on Frisky Radio called Fenix, has the same name as his party in Brazil, and has an important point to inform the public, new talent and producers of electronic music in Brazil and the world.  He is resident DJ on Progression, Progressive House project from D-Edge Club.

With over 15 years of experience in the electronic music scene, this Porto Alegre–based DJ and producer has recently focused his artistic direction on Progressive House, a genre that allows for deeper melodic structures, immersive atmospheres, and subtle yet powerful sonic storytelling. His sets are known for their seamless flow, drawing listeners into a hypnotic journey guided by rhythm and harmonic progression.

Throughout his career, he has explored a wide range of styles including Indie Dance, Dark Indie, Melodic House, Techno, and Melodic Techno, always with a refined curatorial touch and a strong sense of aesthetic cohesion. His approach goes beyond technical mixing, each performance is crafted as a continuous sensory experience aiming to connect emotionally with the audience.
