This is a collaborative record between Los Angeles based record label Good Society and Lyon, France based label Retro Jungle Records (@retrojungle). This once in a lifetime project brings together many of our generation's most notable beat scene creators such as The Kount, Rob Araujo, Kaelin Ellis, and Louis Futon, with a cross generational touch in featuring Matt Johnson the keyboardist of Jamiroquai.

This compilation album is a leading case in which artists who are all actively creating a massive impact on today’s Hip Hop/ Funk scene are being brought together to create a punchy, groovy, boom bap powerhouse. THE HEIST has seen its full release on all digital platforms as well as a special edition released on vinyl in extremely limited supply. Mirage is our second single out of the upcoming album titled "Liquid Fusion" by Elmo & Nico Harris. On this track the two young producers wanted to create an unmatched Jazz fantasy by writing a vibrant electro-jazz tune that left the perfect space for Israel Strom additions to shine in. The groovy drums, the magical synths and electric bass lines are so nicely complemented by the piano. Mirage is our ideal fusion blend and the result is so satisfying. It’s only the second single out of the project but you can already tell how incredible this one is going to be! Stay tuned as the third single will be revealed early December!

‘Solar’ is a nonchalant electronic jazz and lofi track from Makzo, anu and Nico Harris. The elements and details used in this track allow the listener in a quietude state of mind. Their first class production allowed each and one of the artist space to flourish there individual styles throughout the song, with Makzo’s flourishing leads, licks, drum breaks and fills, accompanied by anu’s effective sound fx’s, textures, drums, percussion, melodies and coruscating strings all go hand to hand with Nico Harris elegant piano chords, melodies and harmonies.
