OCASO

O momento mais íntimo entre o Sol e a Terra dá-se quando o astro solar mergulha no horizonte. Esse é o momento a que chamamos Ocaso, e as horas que o precedem e se lhe seguem, são nossas. Daqueles que acordam depois de adormecidos com a ausência da noite, dos que que buscam as cores daquilo a que os fotógrafos chamam a “Hora Mágica”, de todos os que procuram sintonizar frequências diferentes das que reverberam durante o dia.

Mais do que um término, Ocaso pretende ser um despertar, um inspirar e expirar bem no centro dos ofegantes fins de semana do Verão lisboeta. Aos 2ºs e 4ºs Sábados de cada mês, no terraço congregador do EKA Palace, os “selectors” Donald Curtis, Enkō, Kinetic, e convidados ocasionais, exploram a electrónica no limiar entre a dança física e cerebral, aquela em que o espaço entre as notas impacta tanto como elas, a que contempla mais o caminho do que a paisagem. Ambient, chill-out, downtempo, synth music, dub, dub-techno e deep-house, sem nenhuma regra que não a ideia de “slow music”, para nos refazermos do que veio antes e ganharmos balanço para o que vem depois.

This is the forest primeval. The murmuring pines and the hemlocks,
Bearded with moss, and in garments green, indistinct in the twilight,
Stand like Druids of eld, with voices sad and prophetic,
Stand like harpers hoar, with beards that rest on their bosoms.
Loud from its rocky caverns, the deep-voiced neighbouring ocean
Speaks, and in accents disconsolate answers the wail of the forest.

This monthly released podcast brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer.
It's the first sunday of february and that means a brand new session! This months chapter is created by NERATERRÆ.

About  NERATERRÆ:

NERATERRÆ is Alessio Antoni's solo project. His debut album 'The Substance of Perception' was released in April 2019 by Cyclic Law and it is considered by many one of the best Ambient releases of the year; his second album will be out soon, once again via Cyclic Law.
For the 65th episode of the Ambient Sessions series, named 'Il Tempo del Silenzio', and which NERATERRÆ curated, we silently let our subconscious float deep through the many textures of the void which surrounds us.
