Je napsaná bizarním neonormalizačním jazykem, argumentuje zjevnými nepravdami a je průhledně manipulační, přesto je třeba brát petici Vyjádření a výzva umělců a kulturní veřejnosti k AVU, CJCH a NG vážně. Je totiž krystalickou ukázkou přemýšlení starší generace umělců, kteří jsou sice vesměs velmi úspěšní a bohatí, ale stejně mají strach z toho, že je někdo ohrožuje a bere jim jejich svobodu. Umění je pro ně stejné jako závodění v bazénu, ženy ničemu nerozumí a mladí lidé jsou indoktrinováni jakousi nebezpečnou ideologií, zatímco oni jsou prostě jen „normální“.

Petici, kterou za týden podepsalo něco málo přes dva tisíce lidí, se v novém vydání Studia Alarm věnovali Magdalena Dušková, Stanislav Biler a Karel Veselý. Je dalším varováním, že starší generace má ve společnosti své páky a když se jim něco nelíbí, nebojí se je použít z pozice autority. Je s nimi lepší mluvit, a nebo jim spíš dát najevo, že do některých věcí by neměli zasahovat? Jak se stalo, že z mladých radikálů vyrostli staří konzervativci? A co s rozložením české společnosti udělá další vychýlení populační křivky?

It was quite a long process to figure out where to record the field recordings, in the end it made sense to do it somewhere where we simply felt good and far away from our daily struggles. 

Mugel is based on sounds we collected during our escape to the south of France.

Radio Labe’s first VA compilation features 14 tracks by Czech and Italian emerging artists. The contributors were asked to create an audio track using field recordings from a specific place and attempt to capture the diverse sounds and unique energy and cultural fabric of their surroundings.

The album is a journey through underground streams, offering an unconventional perspective on club music as well as more ambient and atmospheric genres.

R3YWYA is a noise-based project by artist Evija Ābrama, centred on sonic improvisation as a means of exploring communication and the role of noise within spatial environments. Through her work, Ābrama adopts an eco-acoustic perspective, treating sound not merely as material but as a dynamic network of spatial relationships. Her compositions reveal rhythms that both disrupt and echo the ambient textures of the surrounding environment, offering a nuanced reflection on how sound inhabits and transforms space.
R3YWYA is an artist of the SHAPE+ platform for innovative music and interdisciplinary art.
My name is R3YWYA (reivija), a noise musician whose craft lies in deep listening to music and responding to it in the moment, creating soundscapes through improvisation. In my work, I often turn to old cassettes found in thrift stores, as they highlight the act of attentive listening — the moment when we either truly hear and understand what was once recorded, or begin to perceive the old information as something entirely new. This approach is also present in my latest track, heard at the very beginning of the radio piece, which features a cassette titled Thumbelina containing songs by Ēriks Vilsons and Valdis Zilveris, originally composed for the Liepāja Theatre production of Thumbelina. In this way, the work not only carries a narrative forward but also reflects on how stories once read and heard can, with time, fade into echoes — emphasizing the fluid and shifting nature of memory.
In the second part of the piece, you can hear a live recording from this year’s industrial music festival “Kūcvāls”, where I had the honor of performing as one of the featured artists. This fragment captures my practice in direct application — an unfiltered moment of listening, reacting, and shaping sound in real time, surrounded by the raw energy of the festival’s atmosphere.
