Brooklyn duo Irina Kotik and Gilles Wasserman started recording as Moon Patrol in 2017, focusing on lo-fi atmospheric downtempo and depths of low-slung atmospheric techno. With releases on labels like On Board Music and Huinali Recordings in 2021, the duo spent the first few months of 2022 working on their debut long player 'Mountain House Music', which is due in upcoming months via South Korean record label, Huinali Recordings. Irina and Gilles are also co-founders of the popular music platform Delayed.

Remember Chinese Whispers, Stille Post or Rikkinäinen Puhelin? That children’s game, known all over the world, that illustrates the difficulties of transmitting information, but which also reveals the creativity of discontinuous conversation? It feels like the Patterns of Perception and @awalkingcontradiction collectives have been in such a conversation for the past years across a multitude of label nights, private hangouts, and shared festival experiences.

Based in Basel, Switzerland but unhinged from national contexts, A Walking Contradiction is a label for music and research. Curated by @varuna4053, @lemont-eana and Dead Electronic Space Limited (@ltd_dead), the collective share a penchant for beats - broken and straight - yet can't help but churn out music for the quiet hours. A deeply reflective group, you’ll find snippets of their conversations on social, political, economic, and environmental issues hidden in sounds or in plain sight on the sleeves of their records.

Compiled entirely from new and unreleased material, their Patterns of Perception 102 is but the latest product of interlocutions and whispers between Basel, Berlin, Helsinki and the world in general, paying tribute to the significance of community where the legitimacy of commons is increasingly impugned. 
Levitating within a field of sophisticated textures and percussion, this set burns slowly, but with a luminescent intensity. Angular experimental ambience builds into winding, complex rhythms. Inspired minds elevate delicate melancholia into a true sense of hope.

Their taste for analogue machinery, for synthesis and algorithmic composition, and their love for the algorithmic composition, and their love for all kinds of synthesizers and programming environments, crystallizes in hard-hitting works for Alpenglühen,The Monkey Bar or Eleve Music. Pajaro Dune (@pajaro-dune) is the product that combines the creative minds of producer Jaime Romero aka Estrato Aurora (@lovebas) and the composer and pianist David Ortolà (@davidortola).

For our next installment of the 'Delayed with...' series, we welcome the label founder of the French imprint Accent Records, multi-disciplinary artist Johan Bonnefoy aka Sub Accent. In the past 6-7 years, Johan has been active with the curation of Accent Records and has presented some exciting releases in ambient, techno, and experimental realms. 
The mix Sub Accent made for us is an intricate journey that slowly unfolds from lush downtempo into dub, deep and hypnotic techno endeavor.

Vand’s sets are explorations into story-telling hypnotica with a crossover from ambient to dance floor material. With productions released on Nyame Records a double EP collaboration with Bas Dobbelaer on SoHaSo and a solo appearance on F-on’s Alpenglühen. Besides making music and being a deejay he also explored to present himself as a live act in recent years. With adebut at the notable Mostra Festival and a 3-hour live improvisation at La Nature Festival with fellow roommates Shoal and Queniv. He is now mostly affiliated to the ISOTOOP collective transmitting their unique sonic identity.
