After some closing events, I had the honor of opening at Goesting festival at the Docks (NDSM Lagerwal Amsterdam). That was certainly not easy, but it turned out well and leaves me wanting more. I was then able to enjoy this beautiful party myself with DJs Kostya Outta, Hobin Rude and Baliology.

Ibiza-based artist, DJ, and producer Chris Le Blanc marks the 20th anniversary of his timeless Chill Out anthem "Enjoy Your Life" with a stunning new remix by acclaimed producer Wolfgang Filz. 

Originally released in 2005 on the legendary Café del Mar compilation, "Enjoy Your Life" quickly became a standout track, known for its relaxed atmosphere, smooth vocals, and an uplifting message that resonated with audiences around the world. Its warm, sun-soaked sound perfectly captured the spirit of Ibiza and the golden era of Balearic Chill Out music. 

Now, two decades later, Wolfgang Filz, who splits his time between Ibiza and Düsseldorf, breathes new life into the track with a refined club remix that honors the original while adding a fresh, modern edge. With pulsating rhythms, soulful vocals by Jules, and enhanced textures, the 2025 remix invites both longtime fans and new listeners to reconnect with the song’s timeless mantra: Enjoy Your Life! 

“This track has meant so much to me over the years”, says Chris Le Blanc. “It feels right to revisit it now, not just to celebrate the past, but to remind people to live in the moment”. Bogotá duo Rush City — aka Jonahlo and Joint4Nine, and heads of the Ritmo Terco label dig deep into their crates for this second vinyl outing, delivering four razor-sharp reworks that balance nostalgia with dancefloor punch. Spanning boogie, Italo disco, electro, and deep house, each track is reimagined with a tasteful blend of analog grit, acid textures, and precise drum programming.

Opener “When Your Ex Wants You Back” breathes new life into Surface’s 1984 boogie anthem, fusing its soulful acapella with 808 rhythms, acid basslines, and shimmering synths for a raw electro-funk twist. Following “Brown Sugar”, lifted from a rare 80s adult film soundtrack, becomes a dubbed-out, indie-leaning acid disco tool — weird, seductive, and undeniably effective.

On the B-side, Dream 2 Science’s deep house classic “My Love Turns To Liquid” is transformed into a hypnotic acid roller, stripping things back while keeping the soul intact. Closer “Don Quichotte” rebuilds Magazine 60’s Italo gem from the ground up — with re-recorded vocals and fresh synth work, it’s a full-throttle electro bomb.
