Jo Johnson has been releasing music and organising events since the early 90s. She is a regular performer at Freerotation festival in the UK, and organises electronic music events with Bleep43 in London. Her debut solo album, Weaving, was released on Further Records in 2014 and has been described as a modern classic.  Her latest solo release, The Wave Ahead, came out earlier this year on Brooklyn-based label, Mysteries of the Deep. Jo also collaborates with pianist and composer, Hilary Robinson, and they have a live album, Session One, on 9128.live (a sub-label of A Strangely Isolated Place).

“It's been a pleasure to spend time listening to someone else’s music rather than my own! I've been writing and playing out much more this year, which has been amazing, but it's not left as much time for listening, so it's been refreshing and inspiring to delve into some of the great music that's been coming out recently.
