The shutdown of the UniBar Open Mic Night has left a hole in the local Wollongong music scene. What once was a foundation for local musicians to get their start in the industry has left an absence that the UOW Music Club is hoping to fill.

Following the success of their first open mic barbeque, the club is aiming to fill the semester with events that can showcase their club members' talents.
