savia manglar es nuestro segundo compilado de música original que en esta ocasión centra su sonido en el manglar, echando luz a su importancia como ecosistema y creando un nuevo canal para crear música al mismo tiempo que conciencia y acción.

Nuestra idea es un disco que tenga como hilo conductor los sonidos del manglar, que estos hilen el viaje propuesto por diferentes artistas, que sean el pilar de un compilado que busca generar conciencia, acercamiento y atención hacia este importante ecosistema.

Todo lo recaudado por este disco lo destinaremos a tareas de visualización de la importancia del manglar, a proyectos comunitarios en la costa sur de Guatemala que están trabajando para la conservación del manglar.

On the countdown to Ozora the Ambyss vibe starts to take over, so I’m exploring a bit more ambient sounds, then, as usual, progressing to my usual downtempo pastures and ending on a more uptempo deep vibe.

My guest this month comes from across the ocean.

Murúa is a Chilean DJ and Selektah, founder of Regional and New Latam Beats labels, he was also conductor and creator of the radio program Yo me llamo Cumbia.

This mixtape is a journey through the most essential sounds of Latin America and the world.

Mike Stellar‘s, promoter, DJ and a man of many artistic tastes and musical flavors is presenting his Stellar Regions showcase series on the Chill Channel: “Stellar Regions represents every month the diversity of my music taste and discoveries. Institution 034: RPO

Anyone into the dark and dirty side of progressive house and techno knows the name Rick Pier O’neil (aka RPO). 

Rick Pier O’Neil has a 30 year history in the music scene. He DJ’ed his first club in his native France at the age of 14. He created his first studio at 16, and immediately began a hugely productive career in music production, remixing and mastering.  He has worked for labels such as Sony Music, Polygram, Universal and Motown, and has remixed for artists such as Kool and the Gang, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Lenny Kravitz, Ultra Nate, Cee Penniston amongst others! 

Eventually, whilst relocating to Barcelona, and subsequently to Mexico, Rick Pier O’Neil started his own music label. Soon, his tracks from RPO Records and GARBAGE Records were supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Anthony Pappa, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, and Steve Lawler. Amazingly, over the years, he has produced and created over 500 titles!

Originally a child of soul music and techno, RPO has now settled into his signature dark progressive sound. We are beyond honoured that this internationally acclaimed DJ/producer accepted our invitation for a guest mix. Turn this one up to 11!
