I couldn't be happier to be sharing new music with you all and this record in particular 😤

Where have I been? Good question! 2020 just felt like the wrong time to release music for me. My music has always been focused on lifting people up and good vibes and last year was...last year. After I dropped the Gunna remix last May I just decided to focus on writing new originals and laying the groundwork for a big 2021. 

So here we are - the first of (at least) 4 singles I'm releasing this year! For the first time in my music career I have 100%, complete control over my music - when it's released, how it's released, who I work with - and it is an amazing feeling. And that actually leads into the story of this record...

So a while back I got approached about doing a remix for a pretty big EDM artist, did what I thought was great work, only to have them turn it down and never drop any remixes. I was bummed about the situation but knew there was too much here to just throw away so I changed the key, changed the chords, sped it up, and re-produced the whole song, which is now One Touch. I don't think there could be a more fitting start for the next phase of my project (100% originals) than turning a remix someone didn't want to let me put out into a song I love and can share with you all.

I'm so happy with how this record turned out. Few things in life make me happier than a good ol piano house slapper and I tried to walk the line on this between 90s vintage vibes and something that will absolutely smack when you play it in a club.

The Brazilian Back to Mars has been settled in The Netherlands for a long time, working as a DJ and curating the lineups for Amsterdam-based events like Bom Voyage, Trance Orient Express and Solstice Festival. Abroad she appears often at known Psytrance festivals, playing a diversity of styles from Psygressive-Dark Prog to Night Psy and Forest, as well as Minimal PsyTechno under her side project Marciana. Flooting Grooves is Pearce van der Merwe, born in South Africa, based Istanbul, Turkey at the moment. Heavily influenced by groups like Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, Motorpsycho and Jethro Tull, his production is a fusion of live elements with flute, guitar and percussion with electronica, resulting in a melting pot of pleasurable psychedelia to groove the body and sooth the soul! His music ranges from very chilled downtempo right up to more progressive beatz. Live performances are enhanced by the use of silver flute and computer fx.

The Nutek Chill episodes continue with a "definite trip for the soul" from Lab's Cloud aka Raul Jordan, a Spanish artist also known for his psytrance project Psycho Abstract.

Raul Jordan is the artist behind the Lab’s Cloud project. Born in 1978 in Valencia (Spain).
Raúl began producing Psychedelic Trance as PSYCHO ABSTRACT with many compilations and three albums in well-known labels as: Novatekk-Global Trance Network, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Ovnimoon Records, Maharetta Rec, Flying Spores... And after some years, in
2004, Raul starts a new project focused in Ambient & Down Tempo music under the project's name: LAB'S CLOUD.

that make a sublime fusion that culminates into an aural experience. A definite trip for the soul!
The first single "Esmeralda" appears in 2005 in the compilation Chillum 4 (Agitato Records) motivating great interest in many international labels. (All releases bellow).
The live performances is a very important item for Lab’s Cloud, for that reason, Raul makes real live, improvising with synths and adapting the sounds according to the answer of the audience. And also playing some percussions in live.
His style in words of the listeners is: a smooth organic ride, sweet, deep, riding, floating,
beautiful and delicious music oriented to chill outs, with space atmospheres, some chilling
vocals, some ethnic sounds,
and acoustic recordings (percussion, guitars..etc)
Since several years, Raúl is working as R+D engineer, developing professional audio
processors (EQ, Compressors-Limiters, crossover...) for VMB Española. Actually with his
experience as sound engineer is offering his mixing and mastering services (Abstract
Studios), who demand it.
