Crazy Shit Show series continues with the third in a row by Merv Pepler aka Eat Static on Thursday, 5th September 8pm CET on the Trance channel.
Inspired by all the summer festivals Eat Static made a live appearance this year around the world the third installment of the Crazy Shit Show series by Merv is a real party mix. With oldschool wizards such as Prometheus, GMS or Wizzy Noise and the trademark mysterious white label records from the vast musical collection of Eat Static this is another crazy rollercoaster ride, one for the dancefloors.

Grasshopper Records is back with CYLON, the psytrance project of Takeo ‘Naminji’ Namiki.

Psychedelic Trance project CYLON, a.k.a. Takeo “Naminji” Namiki has been active under the name of K- WAVE and NAMINJI, released tracks from Victor Entertainment, one of the major label from Japan. CYLON’s remarkable track went into the top 20 charts at Beatport.
CYLON has now signed with GRASSHOPPER RECORDS, releasing his awaited Digital ep from the label.
His experience as a main guitar player from Heavy Metal/Hard Core/Funk/Loud Rock give him insights on his productions.
He produces cutting-edge Progressive Dance tunes which combines the sound from Analog to Digital and Real Band music to the computer sound which will take you to the next level of the journey.

DJ Wired - Progress In The Dark @O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 Pumpui

This is the first part in a psytrance series I will be posting during the next months, where I will be increasing the darkness in each set delivered. This session was recorded at the Motion party "Shining Darkness" in Undercurrent, Amsterdam. I played a twilighted psytrance set after Back to Mars and before a full-on dj so the bpm goes from 148 to 145 in 2.5 hours.

I didn't record yet a specific set of this substyle that I've been mixing for a few years now, mostly during the day, given the lightness of the synths and the grooviness of the baselines. As I lived previously in Amsterdam, I could figure out that this style, more bouncy and happy, would work better in the dancefloor, and so it did. Awesome to see people having it :D

As always, played with CDs, unprepared, instintly, so tracklist may come in the future. Some of the awesome music in the mix are from well known artists like Fagin's Reject, Chris Rich, Southwild, Yabba Dabba, Dharma, Hypereggs, Dust, Wood Warden, Pantomiman, Asimilon,...

Hope you enjoy the journey, it was a lot of fun to play it.
