The Universal Tribe Records series kicks off with INVERTED WORLD featuring this fresh, "Expressions" Live Set with a wide range of his releases, from older tracks to the most recent releases, recorded especially for this Universal Tribe series on radiOzora. Lucas Magalhães is the Brazilian behind the Inverted World project. A native of Minas Gerais and a lover of psychedelic music, he presents in his productions a deep and introspective musical education, bringing to his sound influences from different musical genres, combined with percussion, tribal elements and organic atmospheres, which refer to the power of nature and the jungle, bringing a peculiar style that moves masterfully between Bush Prog and Dark Prog, with strong Zenonesque characteristics. Representative of the renowned Australian record label Universal Tribe Records since 2021, being the first Brazilian producer to sign with the label, today he already collects releases by several highly regarded national and international record labels.

Back to Mars at Waldfrieden Wonderland 2025

The psychedelic journey I played at Transition 2025 is up and running. 3 hours of storytelling through different styles and some of my favourite tunes of the year. This time, I was most invested in the festival than ever before. So this was a very special moment for me, the start of the Saturday night, where I delivered a dip into my psychedelic world. The dancefloor was steaming from the beginning, and the vibe was high. It's a feeling I bring with me the whole year around. What an absolute blast of music and emotions!!

I started it with slow bpm darkprog and went through the usual suspects: forest prog, forest psy, and topped it up with some serious twilight for some tension release. All in all, I feel very confident this may be my most dear set in the year, I enjoyed every second of it. And I hope you will enjoy it as much :)

The 8th Day

On this month's edition of Iboga Records series Filip and Fredrik of Ticon, and DJ Emok will talk a bit about their project, CRITICAL CHOICE and its latest release, Balck Sawn, followed by an exclusive set.

Critical Choice is the brainchild of Filip Mardberg, Fredrik Gilenholt and Mikael Dahlgaard, and represents a natural progression toward creating something new and unique for the psy-trance scene.
Filip and Fredrik have been producing electronic music for years under the name Ticon, and Mikael under the name of DJ Emok and Phony Orphants. Mikael is also manager of the highly respected label Iboga Records.
With their electronic music roots going all the way back to the early 90´s, the guys have helped pioneer the genres Progressive Psy-Trance and Scandinavian Trance and have for years released music on their main labels Iboga Records and Digital Structures.
We have worked together a lot before and we thought it was time to make something together as all three of us enjoy the analogue sounds of old school Scandinavian trance.
Emok comes from Copenhagen, Denmark, and Filip & Fredrik from Malmoe, Sweden. The two cities are very near one another so it was natural for them to get together in the studio. After some wild discussions, studio sessions, gigs and lots of beers, they came to the conclusion that they had something special and unique to give the scene and they decided to form a new project together, and Critical Choice was born.
The Critical Choice sound incorporates the big old analogue sound that the trio all know and love. This foundation is blended with the emotion of the old Goa trance and techno that they grew up with, with a fresh new production incorporating unique musical ideas.
Critical Choice focuses on creating a magical live-act performance, employing an array of keyboards, controllers, effects, drum machines, and more. Expressing themselves live is always a great way to try out new ideas, while interacting with the crowd on the dance floor provides seeds for musical ideas that can be incorporated into future productions.

Interview w/ CRITICAL CHOICE | Iboga Records series Ep. 24 | 26/08/2020

In Focus this time with us is composer Martin Nonstatic, who's also celebrating the 20th anniversary of Ultimae Records with his latest Treeline album release on the label. We'll be talking about some inspirations, creations, followed by some of his synthorganic soundscapes.

Home is the world of creating, performing and experimenting with sounds.
Martin Nonstatic was born in the Netherlands 1976 and moved to Germany close to Cologne at the age of 12. After a couple of years just listening to electronic music and playing his first keyboard, he got really addicted to his first synthesizer at the age of 18. Changing and manipulating sounds brought him to a point of no return. Always influenced by his environment, musicians and friends, and a great sense of curiosity his tastes naturally spiralled in on the limitless space of ambient, electronica and different styles of techno music.
He focused his work on live performances for quite a long time by using hardware synths, drum computers, mixers and effect units, playing the dance and chill out floors while keeping his neighbours in mind. In 2009, he decided to dedicate himself more to studio work after years of performing and producing tracks for himself and friends. His music has since received international support form different imprints such as Bine Music, Silent Season, Dewtone, Ultimae and Sub.spiele.
He moved to Austria end of 2014. Surrounded by beautiful and peaceful Landscapes Martin found deepness in new inspirations for upcoming projects.

In Focus this time is Zenon artist, Pspiralife, talking about Solo Solace and Afterlife, other uplifting news and an hour-long set to top it all.

Pspiralife has always been involved in music from a young age mainly focussing on the drum kit. He began with Country & Western, moved through Rock & Metal and then went on to study Latin, Jazz and Funk around 2003 and then found a deep passion in Psy Trance and electronic music production over the next few years.
An adventure that is appropriate for any time of the day or night, the Pspiralife experience is a fresh, fun and dynamic, omni-directional journey through a fusion of the full spectrum of various Psy Trance sub-genres whilst subtly incorporating elements of Techno, EDM, Classical, Jazz and Cinematic film.
Pspiralife has played at festivals in Europe, Brazil, Israel, USA, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Mauritius and several states of Australia along side Sensient, Talpa, Zyce, Ace Ventura, Captain Hook, Tetrameth, Grouch, Hedflux, Ryanosaurus, Vini Vici, Headroom, Neelix, Shadow Fx, Tom Cosm, and many more. In 2011 his Debut Album on Zenon Records put is home Tasmania on the global Psytrance map. Upon gaining a strong following over the next 7 years Pspiralife has performed on the main stage of both Boom Festival and three editions of Universo Paralello.

In Focus is French producer KALKI who debuted on radiOzora in our last radiOzora Connecting Homes show and now we can find out a bit more about the young artist, followed by his set after the talk.

KALKI is an experienced Music Producer from France, crafting subtle electronic music for over a decade.
KALKI emerged on the trance scene earlier in 2016, with his release of his 1st EP Varanasi, illustrated by a captivating music video shot in India by Basile Pierrat.
KALKI is part of the label Techsafari Records & releases many successful Ep’s which reaches the Beatport top 10 like his tracks Maya, Whales or Japan.
KALKI is playing in many famous gigs & festivals all over the world. He signed with Infinite Booking music for brazil and already shared the stage with artists like Ace Ventura, Protonica & more.
KALKI unfolds a narrative and spiritual universe combining sci-fi culture, primitive rites and psychic experiences that resonate, far beyond the musical genre, with the psytrance movement altogether.

Tune in for a chat + set show with DM-Theory on the occasion of his new album, Breakthrough.

DM-Theory is the result of almost 20 years of music production experience by Marcello Baccheschi. After establishing himself as a full-on psytrance (M-THEORY) and progressive trance (CIMI) artist, Marcello decided it was time to experiment with a slower bpm and techno beats under a new alias. DM- Theory is an exploration of innovative sounds, solid percussive rhythms and a hypnotic vibe culminating in a unique techno style with psy influences. In its short lifespan since the project started in 2018, DM- Theory collaborated with and remixed tracks by influential artists such as Saafi Brothers (Gabriel Le Mar), Tripswitch, MVMB, Gaudi and Youth. He is part of the Ibogatech rooster of artists with 4 EPs released for the label and working on an album already lined up for publication.
