This massive versus set was recorded live at Texas Eclipse Festival 2024 on the Sun Stage during the AlpaKa MuziK takeover on Saturday afternoon, at one of the biggest psychedelic festivals in the world. This set was performed by KOZY (Canada), MYDÄ (Canada) and Crescendoll (USA). This B3B features some of the freshest psychedelic techno tracks mixed with a few favorite older dancefloor heaters. KOZY aka Jeff Koz is the owner and founder of the psychedelic techno label AlpaKa Muzik based out of Montreal, Canada. MYDÄ is a progressive and psychedelic techno duo based out of Toronto, Canada. Amir & Mitch are always finding ways to keep their sound fresh and not limited to any boundaries. The result is a unique brand of glitch-laden groove-heavy progressive techno, with just enough psychedelic attitude to win over any dancefloor. CRESCENDOLL is the dark psychedelic techno project of Erin Parisi, the owner and founder of Shadow Wulf Records. Her unique blend of minimal psytechno is characterized by eerie melodies and driving rhythms, growling gutter grooves, psychedelic progressions and details, and a signature darkness.

I am excited to share the recording of my set recorded this past weekend at Quantum Awakening Festival in New Jersey during our fun Sunday night / Monday morning session featuring Luis M, Evil Oil Man, Manuman and myself on the techno stage.

This set features a ton of new unreleased AlpaKa tunes as well as some of my other favorites! I ended up playing 4-6am Monday morning for the sunrise.

AlpaKa MuziK proudly presents its latest compilation, Sayetech Vol.1. Curated by label DJ Xænomørph and owner Kozy, this VA features 19 tracks from global artists, dropping just in time to energize the festival season.

DJ Xænomørph, a resident AlpaKa DJ, hails originally from Mauritius and had a goal in mind to feature a healthy chunk of talented producers from his home land alongside a carefully curated line-up of absolute legends from around the world.

Delving deep into the techno spectrum, the compilation includes dark minimal techno, progressive techno, and psychedelic techno. To enhance the auditory experience, it also features some dark progressive psytrance gems, creating a truly unique and special collection for the listeners.

Embedded in Australia’s music scene. Arya's DJ and audio production journey began in 2015. Her passion for psychedelic culture quickly propelled her into the spotlight alongside renowned artists. Since then, she has performed at major festivals around the world, including Mo:Dem, Earth Frequency, Elements, Esoteric, Dragon Dreaming, Splendour in the Grass, Wild Horses, Antigravity, Twisted Frequency and more.

Arya has evolved with a keen appreciation for deep frequencies, cheeky bass-lines, intricate percussion and complex rhythms. She is known for versatility, seamlessly blending elements of darkness, light, hypnotic and playful, crafting sets that are not only captivating but also carry a staunch and heavy intensity, adding powerful depth that draws listeners in.

Pascale Deluca and Étienne Sarrazin explore the concept of storytelling through the cyclic progression of dark psytech music. Quantaloop, the innovative project of Etienne Sarrazin and Pasquale De Luca, has become a pioneering force in the psychedelic music scene with their distinctive brand of twisted techno. Leveraging their extensive knowledge of electronic music, they expertly blend diverse genres while maintaining a strong psychedelic core. Their sound is instantly recognizable for its technical prowess and ever-evolving dance floor grooves.

This unique fusion of genres and narrative-driven music has earned them releases on prestigious labels and performances at major festivals worldwide. They've collaborated with top psytech labels like Zenon Records, Alpaka Muzik, Techgnosis Records, and Soupherb Records. In 2023, they performed in nearly every major techno city globally.

Quantaloop's journey began in 2016 when, after completing their studies in electronic music production, they united to create the music they envisioned for dancefloors. By 2018, their early hits like "Windmill Man" and "Expanding Elephants" were gaining traction among DJs worldwide, and their growth has been unstoppable ever since. Despite early successes, Quantaloop remains dedicated to evolving their sound, ensuring each track is a unique exploration of electronic music's possibilities.

This is a psychedelic and dark minimal techno mix by DAVID PHOENIX containing some of the highest quality productions from all around as well as his own. DAVID PHOENIX is the alias of Hungarian DJ & producer David Janecska, an artist whose career within electronic music spans two decades and a multitude of genres. In 2003, David began to make his first forays into music production, experimenting with a variety of styles that drew influence from the blistering sounds of breakbeat and techno that were popular at the time. From here, he followed his love of broken beat rhythms to the drum & bass scene, quickly becoming an avid collector of the genre’s musical history and developing an exacting ear for the qualities that make for a unique and impactful record while doing so. In 2023, DAVID PHOENIX capitalized on these successes with the launch of his VISION SERPENT imprint, a record label that stands out with its unique concept and delivers quality minimal and psytech releases.
