Dr Space

Labirhythm is a monthly live show from the radiOzora studio. Behind the project are Dr Space of StarSheepSystem and radiOzora’s managing editor Tsubi (BMSS Records / Avatar Events / Loading Zone). These two experienced DJs are entertaining us with a wide range of underground psytrance from progressive to mid-speed – the so-called pure psytrance. The show starts on 23rd January 2014 Thursday 8pm CET on the Trance channel! Reruns: 24 Friday 2pm, 25 Saturday 8am and 26 Sunday 2am. Stay tuned!
The duo presents their favorites also in an upcoming party series, kicking off with Labirhythm #1, an event featuring star guest PsiloCybian – Live (HR).

Miska from Budapest a.k.a. Dr Space learned and played traditional South-African music for years, and played in a psychedelic/space rock band, combining traditional and electronic percussion instruments; authentic, and shaped tribal drum sounds with twisted effects.
He has begun to play different style DJ sets for friend’s entertainment at small parties, before or after their band’s concerts, just-for-fun. In 1-2 years, and several promising parties in 2009 he started to play as “Dr Space” mostly UK-full-on style sets, accepting requests from the Hungarian scene. At the first times introduced by a Budapest based underground psychedelic crew (4.49 festival / Psyweekend), at their parties and festivals. By this time he is in charge for the technical-and and artist management at one of this underground festivals, where he met first time the psychedelic culture’s wonder.
Thence, more and more possibilities opened up to entertain the party people with his taste of selection at indoor parties, and open-air festivals, in Hungary, neighbour European countries, and far places like Israel. Joined to the label “Starsheep Systems”, that started by O.z.o.r.a. festival’s promoter in 2012.
With the influences of psytrance technical evolution now he plays more diverse sets adapted to the ambience usually night-time, calling "pure psychedelic trance", without stigmatizing it dark, progressive or full-on, mixing in the fringe of different sub-styles to give a groovy psychedelic journey around 145-150 BPM. The high-class sound, deep, ecstatic tunes, trippy melodies, and powerful continuous dynamics give character to his sets. 
His confession is, that psychedelic trance producers are really significant "visionary artists" of our age, and this music always have to be innovative and surprising technically, nevertheless primordial in the impressions. According this the DJ have scope to transmit the experience of wondering through sharing music, that helps to get in touch with our instinct beings.

RadiOzora / O.Z.O.R.A. Festival resident, Hungarian pure psy talent DR SPACE is warming up the Psyktoberfest party's day #2 live from the studio, right before we welcome AUDIOFORM for a chat and some track showcases.

Miska a.k.a. Dr Space from Budapest learned and played traditional South-African music for years, and played in a psychedelic/space rock band, Man 0'Mantra on electronic drums, FX instruments, and also on traditional percussions.
He started to play as “Dr Space” mostly UK-full-on, and deeper UK-psytrance style sets. Introduced at the first time as “Dr Space” by a Budapest based underground psychedelic crew (4.49 festival / Psyweekend), at their parties and festivals, from party to party, set by set he accepted new requests from Hungary like Ozora’s Pumpui stage, Bakony festival and neighbor European countries, like Poland, Czech, Austria and far places like Israel. etc..
In 2012 he’s joined to the label “Starsheep Systems”, managed by O.z.o.r.a. festival’s promoter Wegha, and since that he played at the legendary festival's mainstage, year-by-year, and also member of the RadiOzora team.

This set I recorded especially for our party promotion crew: Labirhythm, as the 5th podcast in order at radiOzora  studio, and I represent with this one of my vision of a potential nightie dancefloor, filled with positive energy and continous blasting:)

Labirhythm Radio Show doubles up this month. The second October edition of the showcase will celebrated by our hippie from the outer void, DR SPACE.

Miska a.k.a. Dr Space from Hungary learned and played traditional South-African music for years, and started his musical carrier in a psychedelic/space rock band, playing electronic drums, FX instruments and traditional percussions. As their concerts warmed up, followed by DJ/sets, he also started playing his own eclectic selection of different genres from trip-hop to psytrance. Gig by gig he felt more complete DJ-ing only for the dancefloor and played his first festival set as „Dr Space“ “ in 2009 @ 4.49 psychedelic gathering. Thence he became well-known, and is considered one of the pioneers of the underground Hungarian scene today, asked to entertain the crowds at most domestic promotion crews’, as well as many international parties and festivals in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Israel, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, etc. Since its establishment, he has been part of radiOzora’s DJ rooster and is a resident at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival. He plays in the fringe of different sub-genres without stigmatizing it dark, forest or full-on, to pace a groovy psychedelic journey around 144-150 BPM both during the day and nighttime.
