Johnny Blue Bio:

Johnny Blue comes from Cyprus. He started dj-ing 23 years ago. His first influence was rock and especially psychedelic rock ( Pink Floyd , Ozric Tentacles etc ). In 2000 he got into the electronic scene with a main interest chill out and psychedelic trance music.

So, here's my set from the Chillout Gardens at #Boomfestival 2016. So exciting to play there for the first time, a beautiful and crazy experience..!  This was a 12:00 - 14:00 set in the crazy sunshine (shaded..) for some context.. :) Also, in the interests of openness, this is a backup of my set, as I couldn't record the actual set, due to technical issues (and even had to rely on this backup at times). Still, it all come out OK and we shared a magical 2 hours....!! I hope you can find some of that magic here... X

Gui from Argentina, after venturing into several groups and instruments (drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals), Gui discovers the world of musical production and founded Expedizion in 2008.
Since then the project works as a base of sonic experimentation, always looking for a sensitive, emotional, mental and spiritual expansion, without forgetting the rule of the 4 sacred Lís: Listen, Live and Love Life
“Gui’s psychedelic downtempo dub music has ascertained a certain character which is unlike any other. Taking influence from the likes of IDM and Dubstep and infusing them with the most cunning structures of world music. Melodies and glistening textures which suggest to the listener, a time of ritual and deep spiritual awakening and understanding is beginning to envelope our collective third eye. The natural rhythmical percussion shall transcend your body upon a dance which flows like the unpredictable fall of fragrant oils, heated and then condensed as it slides down sheeted glass.”

Psychedelic Jelly is proud to present the 11th in a series of Nodes to keep you entertained during and through the lockdown and beyond!
A node is a spatial concept representing the alignment between two waves, just as a mix is the connection between different songs.

Being influenced by several music cultures (rock, dub, reggae, electronica, psy-trance, chill out), Johnny Blue developed a unique style by smoothly blending sounds in colourful and sensational music journeys.
He comes from Cyprus and started dj-ing 20 years ago. 
He is one of the senior representatives on the launch, establishment and uprising of Cyprus' psychedelic music scene.

The Project starts as a three-headed Psytrance-Liveact launching in the mid-'90s, performing at several german Goa/Psytrance Parties and open airs. Their first single appears in 2001 called "Dua Orang", initiating a view releases on various compilations. In 2005 Spiritual Beings Records released the album "Groom Mountains" produced by Marcus which primary contains Psytrance, but also Tara Putra's first Ambient, Chillout and Dub tracks. The EP "Hidden Sense" pops up in 2010. This displays the projects future development with Psybient and Psydub - Creating space and psychedelic atmospheres in a dubby ambience
