Erratic, unconventional, nonconforming. Merely a few words that insiders use to define the semblance of Shreyas. While Shrevas has been crafting his artistic master in the studio for years, it is arguable that his presence in the DJ booth is even greater. His sets are a journey through sound, with a razor-sharp focus on quality and an obsessive attention to entertaining both the purists and the unassuming.

His sound is propelled forward by psychedelic beats and rippling synthetic bass-lines that induce trance like states.
Fans have taken note of his ability to diversify and spin music that keeps the dance floor full of energy, means he has a consistent touring schedule.

His aim of being true to himself and making the most of opportunities, creating music, art and friendships has been central to everything he has done, drawing inspiration from his culture, autonomy and productivity. Not only has breaking the rules become a tradition, it's safe to say that Shreyas is slowly defining new ones.

Oh gerade festgestellt das wir ja quasi mit der Nummer 150 schon wieder ein kleines Jubiläum feiern … wie aber auch immer die Zeit vergeht. 

Für die Nummer 150 haben wir die wunderbare Josephine Wedekind mit ihrem Sideprojekt AYJO ausgewählt. Wie keine andere versteht es Josephine mit Ihrer Musik Grenzgänger in allen Stilen der elektronischen Musik zu sein. Sei es wie mit Ayjo im Downtempo und psychedelic Ambient und Dub. Oder mit wunderbaren verspielten Techno-Sets in ihrer Schiffbruch-Crew. Und nicht zuletzt mit Psy-Trance in der völlig anderen Goa-Szene. Josephine macht Musik aus Leidenschaft und verbindet dies auch über Szenen hinweg z.B. mit ihren xXETEXx Partys. Und selbst ich hab mal wieder bei einigen Set gefallen an Psy-Trance gefunden … und das soll was heißen ;-)

Mit dem Projekt AYJO widmet sich Josephine wie gesagt den etwas langsameren und leiseren Tönen. Aber auch dies ist kein gängiger Downtempo wie man ihn in Berlin so kennt. Auch hier bedient sie sich ganz stark den Einflüssen im Psy-Ambient und Psy-Dub … was für viel wahrscheinlich relativ unbekannt sein dürfte.  

Josephine tausend Dank für deine Art und Weise deine Musik zu leben … gehört dir unser größter Respekt. Und nun wünschen wir unserer Hörern ganz viel Freude und eine tolle musikalische Reise mit unserer Nummer 150 von AYJO aka Josephine Wedekind.

Lefteris Leontiadis (born March 5, 1988), known as Digital Abstract, is a Greek composer and producer of electronic music.
Lefteris, fascinated by his experiences in psychedelic events in Greece, began to mix psytrance and other sounds from the psychedelic scene, at private parties and small clubs. Thrilled beyond obvious by the power of electronic music, he soon started the effort of creating his own tracks. So in 2009 he began producing with a computer and a keyboard, starting to gain a taste for computerized production.
He first experimented with electronic genres like breakbeat, progressive and full on trance, before turning to the more dark path of the psytrance sounds, giving birth to his self-titled project Digital Abstract.
Dark, experimental and psychedelic, are all words that are used to describe Digital Abstractís music and each is more than justified.
Digital Abstract develops gradually and cultivates a sound thatís strictly psychedelic; a sound thatís mysterious, deep and powerful, with abstract production techniques, that are visual imagery structured.
Digital Abstract is noted for his constant search and experiments with unusual methodology in sound design, and manipulation with unparalleled technical skills.
After his first forays into the psychedelic scene, Lefteris decided to set up his first EP, working from his studio in his hometown of Thessaloniki. No matter what, Lefterisí vision is clear, always ready to produce, pushing an uncompromisingly original, sensational and deep futuristic sound.

BODJ (real name Yiorgos Zachariou) is one of the main characters who has paved the way, shaping the constantly evolving house music scene in Greece. DJ & music producer, resident at the notorious underground club Six Dogs in Athens and co-founder, owner of the Audiorama record label and club night.
His extensive record collection & masterful skills behind the decks has made him one of Greece’s most talked about talents giving him the chance to perform at respected venues & festivals both in Greece and abroad. EνΤechno Festival, Pixi & Senza in Athens, Cookies in Berlin,Wake Up Call in Istanbul, Typo in Budapest just to name a few.
2018 has been a fruitful year for BODJ, his latest EP titled Reflectors which was released via Memoria Recordings has graced the bags of prolific selectors around the globe such as Margaret Dygas, Enzo Siragusa, Dyed Soundorom & Janeret, while his new vinyl only EP is set to be out later this year through the legendary Visionquest label.

The special guest of the 2nd show is Hungarian DJ, and promoter, Experimental, from Der Morgen project.

The radio show’s called Atmospherica Exotica aimed to present another side of techno through my own and guest mixes, focusing on more atmospheric and sophisticated trends. My first Ozorian experience had a great influence on me, both musically and atmopsherically, this is why I started diving deeper into the soundscapes I heard there and which inspired this show.

Experimental is known for being founder of the Budapest based techno event series called Der Morgen. Serving as a curator, booker and promoter takes a whole person, but the best skill of this one-man army still comes to light behind the decks. His mixes are made with surgical precision, though they are dynamic and diversified at the same time. During a one year residency at club Larm and several shows at Corvin Club and Dürer Kert, Experimental proved his talent in every significant venue of the Hungarian scene while he was lucky enough to share the stage with such legends as Shifted, Paula Temple, Grounded Theory founder Henning Baer, Psyk, Architectural aka Reeko, Arts label-boss Emmanuel, Claudio PRC of The Gods Planet and many many more.

EXPERIMENTAL | Atmospherica Exotica Vol. 2 by Roland Handrick | 15/01/2019

In this month’s show, you can hear two guest mixes by ERRO and SMOLE.

The radio show’s called Atmospherica Exotica aimed to present another side of techno through my own and guest mixes, focusing on more atmospheric and sophisticated trends. My first Ozorian experience had a great influence on me, both musically and atmopsherically, this is why I started diving deeper into the soundscapes I heard there and which inspired this show. – Roland Handrick

Smole, who’s name is originally Szilárd Molnár, was born in 1982, in Budapest. Electronic music infected him when he was a child, and soon he became an enthusiastic music collector. In the beginnings Depeche Mode and Jean Michel Jarre inspired him a lot, later some hungarian DJs were the idols for him, like Budai, Tommyboy, Kühl and Slam Jr, and they showed him the way, where to go further in music. Obviously there were some international favourites for him, like Paul Van Dyk, Nick Warren, Dave Clarke, Michel De Hey, and, of course, Sasha and John Digweed.
The first steps in DJing was in 2007-2008 for him, and he got his first real possibility in 2010, when he became the resident of a small club near to Budapest. After this he joined Sawproduction, and attended several radio shows regularly both at Justmusic.fm and Prime FM. The next step for him was the moment, when he joined Infinity Sounds in 2013, where he is one of the monthly residents at Infinity Sounds Radio Show, which appeared on the leading hungarian electronic music radios. In 2014, he joined the famous Contra Mundum group, one of the leaders of Hungary’s undeground house / techno scene, he perfroms regularly at their parties. He played at almost every leading undeground club in Budapest: Corvin Club, Zippp, R33, Lärm, Volt Bar, Toldi Club, Track Terrace, Wndrlnd, Gozsdu Club and many more, where he played together with some famous international DJs: Valentino Kanzyani, Julia Govor, Vinyl Speed Ajust, Klaudia Gawlas, Konrad Black, Moshic, Thomas Atzmann, Caval, Lekesch&Schekel, Terje Bakke, Alexander Skancke … And also played together with the most of leading hungarian DJs too. He is a talented upcoming dj in Budapest’s undeground scene, someone you should watch out for the next years.
