About Awwen:
Charli starts to get in touch with the music back in 2007 when, based in Barcelona, he forms a crust punk band along with friends as the vocalist. It is actually in Barcelona where he starts to be regular at the psytrance parties. In 2009 he moves to Amsterdam where he learns to djay at the local parties. But it won’t be till the late 2011 when he starts to produce his own sound. In 2012 he decides to create a new psychedelic trance project. Awwen’s music is conceived for night time but as well for the transition between night and day. Psychedelic groovie noises with strong leads flowing from the gloomiest shadows and sounds from the deepest underground including evolving atmospheres and twisted and fast organic sounds.
Since 2014 with much more experience he compiled some big releases in the label GloOm Music; VA Light the fuse, V.A The Alchemy Reaction, VA Shamanic GloOm Visionaries, VA GloOm Tales, and now is finishing his Ep Organic Modulation that will be release first of september in GloOm Music, stay tuned!!!

In April of 2014, GloOm Music label arises from a common idea of various Spanish friends and producers, regulars at the psychedelic floors, who sharing a common musical taste have decided to create a brand new music label based on the darkest sounds of the psy trance scene, focused on the modern subgenres of twilight, forest and groovy.
Nowadays GloOm Music is being managed by Awwen ( head and manager ) and Ludopsy ( manager ).
The GloOM concept is focused to represent talents from around the world, to create a big family of gloomers, and of course get all the people gloomed!!!

It’s time for the sixth edition of Mo:Dem Festival and in the year 2017. the biggest novelty is our new concept with three musical stages. Here we present you the sounds of The Hive. In the past editions this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. Xabanga is the Psychedelic Trance project of Greek born, South African Lio Mihos, aimed at delivering a focused and completely accidental musical adventure.
Having played the drums as my main instrument for many years, I am most drawn to rhythmic pattern variation, and because of this I started writing Psychedelic Trance to experiment with rhytmic variation of aggresive electronic music as much as possible!
In addition to this, having studied sound design for film and animation in University, my obsession with replicating sonic realities permeates into this project with a lot of passion 🙂
In this audible experience you will find riding basslines that groove into cheeky rhythmic motifs and aggressive leads, followed by designs in spaces that make no sense at all. The project was signed to Digital Shamans Records (Switzerland) in 2017).
