YACCO VYN - BLUE ROOM SOUNDS PODCAST 008

The music you hear here is the soundtrack of a groundbreaking biographical film which was never made.. We have almost no information about the circumstances of the birth and childhood of the protagonist, Rufus. Rumour has it that his mother was a Turkish belly dancer and his father a Vietnamese exiled Caodaist priest. This is the religion that, along with Jesus, Moses and Buddha, also claims Jean d'Arc, Gandhi, Lenin and, for example, Charlie Chaplin as its own prophets. He was brought up by his grandmother after his parents divorced. He spent his school years in extreme poverty, and was only able to attend university thanks to a scholarship, which he earned for his exceptional intellectual ability and his extraordinary musical sensitivity. To help with his desperate financial situation, he worked in nightclubs while at university and once volunteered as a test subject for a newly developed potency-enhancing drug. This turned out to be a fatal mistake. As an unfortunate consequence of the test, Rufus was never again able to handle intense emotional situations. In every such situation, he would have a seizure, his eyes would widen, his face would puff up - while taking on a surprisingly bluish hue -, suddenly he started talking backwards.   The unfortunate drug experiment took a dramatic turn in his life. He was thrown out of university - unable to pass his exams - unable to get a job, and in time even simple grocery shopping became unfeasible. Needless to say, he became unfit for any kind of relationship. In desperation, she tried all kinds of therapies, tried every conceivable method of traditional and alternative medicine, visited medicine-men and quack doctors, and even went to an ayahuasca ceremony. Unfortunately, all efforts failed. He became irredeemably depressed, started drinking and then taking drugs, and even contemplated suicide. Once, when he had a seizure in a busy pedestrian street, some onlookers mistook his agony for a bizarre performance and threw money at him. That was when his attention turned to art. He began to research and study the work of the most exciting and radical artists with unprecedented enthusiasm. It became clear to him that his only chance for a life worth living was to be able to transform his torment, his everyday hell, into art. He tried performing arts, performing in shabby clubs and shabby community centres, but unfortunately he never made a breakthrough, never succeeded. He lived on mind-altering drugs by day, performed wherever he could at night, and was haunted by strange dreams at night, in which imagined discourses with his idols were mixed with a heavy dose of naughty content. Rufus's ordeal ended with an unexpected phone call from New York. Yoko Ono was on the other end of the line. As it turned out, Rufus had been discovered. A small but important group of artists took notice and, thanks to their support, Rufus became a fairly well-regarded Fluxus performance artist. Whether this improved his mood, his quality of life, and whether he ever managed to find happiness and lose his virginity, is unfortunately not addressed in the film. And as we know, in the end it was never made.

So i wont have any time to make a yk a tryhard edit or just sm like that so due to these circumstances ive decided that im going to be posting a lot more simpler audios and audios that are mostly for me bc ngl i dont listen to a single audio i post and yk its time i start making sm stuff that i like. ty guys for listening to my stuff in the past i really appreciate all the love you guys have given me but my life has changed now and its about time i rearrange my priorities ill try my best to post constantly simple edits but again ty guys. also another thing i learned and want to say is that revenge is a mirror that reflects nothing but your own pain. At first, it feels sharp—focused. You believe it will restore something that was taken, return balance, make the hurt make sense. But the more you feed it, the more it drains you. It doesn’t heal the wound—it keeps it open. You begin to live in response, not intention, shaped by what was done to you rather than who you are. And when it’s over, when the moment passes, you realize nothing changed. They’re untouched. Only you remain in the aftermath, still carrying what you thought you were giving away.
