"Chebiji" as he was affectionately known passed away November 6, 2013 at the age of 66, and we are releasing this special remaster as a benefit to his family: he has two kids and three grandkids, who are largely dependent on him. All the proceeds from this remix will go straight to the family.

AJJA S.F. LEU is an eclectic and multi-talented Swiss artist who channels his creativity through parallel careers as musician/producer/dj, Peak Records label manager, graphic artist and tattoo artist. 

Born in London in 1975, AJJA grew up roaming the planet with his world-renowned family of tattoo-artists and travellers. Wandering across the world and bathed in various artistic scenes, he was provided with a constant creative drive. 

He started playing guitar when he was nine years old, and having been reared in a rock’n’roll and funk atmosphere, he first concentrated on these musical styles. By his mid-teens, he had composed, produced and recorded over one hundred original songs. He performed with a number of live bands in different countries and continued to create music and release rock albums for another decade. During this time, he also picked up the family trade and started tattooing alongside his parents and older brother Filip Leu. 

At the end of the nineties, his interest gradually shifted towards electronic music, causing him to explore new digital horizons. In 2002, AJJA and musician friends Master Margherita, Dymons and Flooting Grooves created The Peaking Goddess Collective, a chill & psytrance band that fuses live instruments and digital technology. After performing in many parties and festivals and releasing tracks on many compilations, their debut album “Organika” was released on Peak Records in August 2007. 

In the summer of 2003, AJJA, in collaboration with his partner, visual artist Tanina Munchkina and musicians Dj Gaspard and Master Margherita, founded the psychedelic trance label Peak Records. In only four years, the label has gained respect and a solid reputation in the psytrance scene, releasing many quality night-time and chill albums and compilations. The same year saw the birth of Yab Yum, the fully digital project shared by AJJA and Dj Gaspard. They have since released numerous tracks on world-renowned labels, and their debut album “Nocturnal Emissions”, released on Peak Records in December 2006, has been widely praised in the international psytrance scene. They have performed with growing success worldwide from Japan to the United States. 

In 2005, AJJA started a solo project under his own name. This digital live-act is primarily 144bpm-based, focusing on groovy, non-cheesy, psychedelic trance that could be played in the morning or in the middle of the night. Since then, AJJA has performed in numerous parties and festivals including the Soulclipse, Life, Gaian Mind, Wickerman, World People, Forgotten Ritual and Waveform Project festivals. His much appreciated live sets have already rocked & grooved dancefloors in Japan, The United States, Canada, Switzerland, France, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Ireland, Scotland and Turkey. In the coming months, AJJA will be performing both his new material and with Yab Yum in parties around the planet, including the famous Universo Paralello in Brazil. A mini-tour in Japan is planned for spring 2008. 

In 2007, AJJA released his first solo night-time track on Moonloop Records. This fall, he will have two more releases on the upcoming Peak Records compilation “Peak-a-Doodle-Doo” and on Northern Psylights Records. His debut album “PSYCHOGENICA” will be released in November 2007, on the newborn Irish label Syncronize Records. Not satisfied with so much activity, Ajja also composes music for theater plays, designs Peak Records covers with his partner Tanina Munchkina, and works as a tattoo artist in his family’s shop in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Timewarp Records has achieved inner enlightenment through the well-known practise of calming the body and mind to attain the healing Alpha Wave state generated during Meditation.

With volume One of this quintessential new series quite aptly titled 'Goa Meditation' label manager and multi-talented goa producer Nova Fractal joins forces with label artist Sky Technology to compile a deeply soothing mind body excursion featuring top PsyChill and Sloa Goa Midtempo compositions inspiring the theme and extending the concept across many disciplines of Downtempo Ambient Breakbeat and even hints of Psy Bass and Chill Step Psybient.

Sky Technology proposed this idea to Nova Fractal when he conceived of a three part odyssey that started with his ecclesiastal melodic acid chill goa EP on Goa Records titled 'Free Spirit', Delves deeply through this mind expanding double disc compilation and culminates on his coming soon, eagerly anticipated full length album on Timewarp Rec titled 'Spirituality'.

These two talented musicians collaborate seamlessly to discover and present a perfectly balanced selection of artists and songs that communicate our philosophy and mission perfectly. Expect great music from returning Timewarp regulars as well as a great variety of artists new to the label.

Dmytro Kolosovskiy aka Sky Technology is well known Ukraine psychedelic trance producer who comes from Kiew, born in 1982. His main style is melodic goa trance, tracks with powerful beat, full of energy, ethno motives, spiced all with acid sounds. He also makes very powerful and emotional downtempo-ambient music. So far he has released couple of EP, 2 full length albums, numerous tracks on various compilations, he has done also some compilations. From this talented artist we can expect soon to be released new downtempo album and singles.

Nova Fractal is Croatian psychedelic and Goa trance project, founded by Renato Brnic from Slavonski Brod, also releasing breaks and downtempo with his side project 'Main Sequence Star' and managing Timewarp Records.

Presenting the very first edition of the oldest active Russian psytrance label Insomnia Records’ bimonthly series is one of the most notable members of the Russian scene since the early 2000’s, none other than KOSTA a.k.a. DJ SUNSHINE.

DJ Sunshine (Kostas) got influenced with psychedelic trance music and started to play dj-sets in 2003. Since 2005 he was running the label and promo group Technical Freaks, making parties in Russia, Moscow Region and released an album of well known russian artist – Furious.
Some events were produced together with the long time established label Insomnia Records and since 2009 Sunshine is a label manager, DJ, party organizer of Insomnia and represent the label worldwide. Kostas has performed at the most well known russian festivals and also played in India, Germany, Czech Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and other countries around the globe.

Music from Sunshine is not funky morning tunes as you can think regarding the nickname. Usually it is deep groovy night forest stories provided with special psychedelic energy. Communicating with many artists around the globe Sunshine is playing lots of new trippy stories exclusively, trying to catch the true spirit of underground.

Together with DJ Becar (the founder of Insomnia Records) in 2014 Kostas has compiled VA – Crast Test, and during the year of 2016 he is preparing a brand new compilation which will be out in autumn.

Insomnia Records’ series is back w/ Russian duo PROPAGUL.

Propagul is the project of two talented musicians from Russia, Moscow (Evgeniy and Maxim). Both started their musical experience long time ago and step by step were developing their skills in making tunes as well as djing on different parties and festivals. Evgeniy and Maxim started their psychedelic journey as two separate projects Kiru and Maximus, made lots of tunes and released many tracks on different labels such as DARK recs, Triplag music, Blitz Studios, made solo and split albums. After some years of working under solo projects they meet each other in the scene and decided to make collaborated project named PROPAGUL – its mainly forest vibes style expressing some life experience. Now guys are doing some stuff for different labels such as Digital Shiva Power, Mighty Quinn and preparing an album for Insomnia records as well as doing some collaboration with other musicians all around the world. PROPAGUL project performs in Russia ,CIS and European countries at the moment.

The Bounce Back radio show represents the musical concept of hungarian producer/dj Lank. Expect some trippy deep-prog-techno, electronica and everyhing beyond.

Perfect harmonies, which create room for music sometimes with exciting dynamics, sometimes with philosophical deepness. Lank points out the path in the musical universe to his listeners since 2004, who follow him through nights of loud ovation in the biggest clubs and festivals in Hungary and abroad. Thanks to his sustained work today he is a unique and – despite his young age – well-known character of the electronic dance music scene.
Lank thinks sounds, rhythm and harmonies instead of styles or genres, that’s why elements of most electronic genres are there in his music, and he’s also not afraid to use some jazzy-funky stuff.
It his different monikers which show us best, what a wide musical spectrum he’s thinking in. The alias Mortinaré is for electronica-based, tricky ambient stuff, while the name Colourblock is a band he created in 2009 together with Forteba and Stone to produce house, progressive house and deep house music.
There is almost no club in Hungary now where he didn’t play at, so it’s impossible to list all where he did. From dark basements to superclubs and open-air stages of festivals – making people dance and sharing the DJ booth with artists like Sasha, Steve Lawler, Swayzak, Jody Wisternoff, Eelke Kleijn, John Graham and Terry Lee Brown Jr. He gained immediate success all around the world, from New York to London, Moscow, Dresden, Cologne, Krasnodar and his recent Argentinian and Mexican mini-tours.
He’s spending lot of time in the studio since 2006. In that year he published Cowboys Again, Riverview, Confrontation and Wicked Soul, which was used by the british Hybrid duo on their Soundsystem 01 mix album. Hearing these quality releases, Boz Boz label boss Quivver called him most talented producer of the year in 2008. It was around this time when he started working in his debut album, which appeared in 2009 with the title “No Sense Of Direction”. The 12 movingly melodic tracks gain him lot of remix requests from labels like Proton Music, microCastle, Armada, Baroque Records, Ready Mix Records, Sick Watona, Aenaria Music or Mesmeric Records.
Since that, he did remixes for and produced music together with artists like Quivver, Eelke Kleijn, Jimmy Van M, Barry Jamieson, King Unique, Cid Inc, Luis Junior, Microtrauma, Jamie Stevens, 16 Bit Lolitas, Monaque, Anthony Pappa, Dibby Dougherty, Moonbeam, Envotion , Ricky Ryan, Inkfish, Yota, Lukasz Napora, Peter Martin, Marco Grandi, Zajac, Kassey Voorn, Rodskeez, FM Radio Gods, Bambook and Michael Burns .
The grandiose Bounce Back EP and the Our Benefactors EP produced with Cid Inc appear on Lank’s second home, microCastle in 2010. These tracks gained positive feedback from Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J and Henry Saiz. In 2011, Ain’t No Problem was licensed for Nick Warren’s mix in the famous Balance Series.
Colourblock’s debut album, Sky & Fiction came out on Proton Music in June 2012, which will be followed by his own Songs For The News Feed EP, where you can again expect a hybrid of melodic sounds and tight beats. Meanwhile, there is an album in the works for the Mortinaré alias with the working title Welcome To The Wormhole, and the second Lank artist album is also shaping nicely.
Lank’s creativity can be experienced monthly in his Bounce Back radio show on Proton Radio, one of the leading online music platforms.

I run into her soundcloud a few months ago, one of her mixes flew me away, so i wrote her, and she told me she is a big fan of Ozora. Wow! It is not a coincidence that it was so magnetizing. She is not a believer of rules, and likes to just go with the flow and intuition, be it music or work or life. Exactly as her ways of selecting this fine musical journey, her tracklist looks promising, so as the mix.

ALREADY MAGED | Insomnia Records Series #3 | 04/12/2017

On the 4th episode of Insomnia Records series will be presented by DJ BECAR.

Vadim Becar, the founder and creator of Insomnia Records began his trance music journey in 1995.
Started to collect tracks he shortly became one of the biggest collectors of psychedelic trance music in Russia.
From 2000 Becar visited Goa every year, where he tried himself as a dj.
Totally made up his mind which direction in the psytrance music to follow, in 2002 Becar established his label Insomnia Records  to promote this kind of music.
Since that moment Becar started to release albums of psytrance producers from the global scene, and compilations which became popular worldwide. He have compiled v/a Potatogun, v/a Invisible Incursion, v/a Tomatogun, v/a In da Blood, v/a Crash Test (together with dj Sunshine) and v/a Serial Killers.
At the same time he presented new label music in his dj-sets all around the world, in: Russia, Goa, Thailand, Ukraine, Belgium, Netherlands, Japan and more.
Apart from the label management Vadim is constantly working as a party organizer.
For now Insomnia Records, headed by Becar published lots of conceptual releases, made huge volume of parties with unique musical lineups.
One of the leading promo organizations in Russia brought to their parties a lot of psytrance masters from all around the world.
Every year from 2003 till now Becar is also organizing Insomnia Trance Culture Festival where international musicians are performing most actual sets of the modern psytrance music.

DJ BECAR | Insomnia Records Series #4 | 21/03/2017

Insomnia Records series’ next episode will be presented by Greece producer Mario Sounoglu a.k.a. MAKUMBA.

Mario Sounoglou is the Mind behind the Kokobloko, Darkshire and Makumba projects. Born and living in Athens, Greece since December 1984. Studied Computer Science in Lamia, Central Greece, then switched to Computer Animation to get his Msc Degree in Kent, UK.
Mario discovered Psychedelic Trance in early 2000 by enjoying music in Festivals and bit later Djing privately. In August 2004, Mario gets his first steps into production. At same time, Mario meets Viktor Zolotarenko in a visit to Greece and his Music Conception and Style is what influenced him to the most. His first release come out with Zolod Parasense/Terminator at Vertigo Records on 2005. Next releases follow in labels such as Discovalley Records, Tantrumm, Manic Dragon, Drop Out Productions, Mighty Quinn, Trishula, Foot Stomping Records..In 2006 the Kokobloko Project initiates it s Experiments (along with Gregorio Materia Increada/Gr.) Later on due to life complications he proceeds solo to the Kokobloko Project. His Debut Album ‘Darkshire & Amigos ‘Break Down’ comes in June 2009 in Helicon Sound System Records. Later this year follows his Split Album ‘Distorted Shire’ along with Nelsun ‘Mind Distortion System in Lycantrop Records. Meanwhile collaborations appear with Kolya Furious/Crazy Astronaut in Kolya ‘s Album Renegade in Osom Music and with Farebi Jalebi in Parvati Records. In Summer 2010 some more Releases come in Labels such as Pukkawallah (Japan), Lycantrop Records, Deviant Force Records (Germany). At Mid Autumn 2011, Mario established his own Music Label ‘Future Tribe Office’. In 2012 Future Tribe Office releases the debut Kokobloko & Friendz ‘ Pobeg V Budushee album. Later on this year Discovalley Records releases his last work of Darkshire Project , the ‘Path of Memories’ album.

At Autumn 2013 he launch his new project ‘Makumba’, evolution of Darkshire sound with it s Debut EP ‘Drawn to life’. He performed numerous times across Europe in Russia, Germany, Italy, France, UK, Belgium, Portugal, Austria, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Rebublic, Greece and Abroad Europe, in Japan, Brazil, India, Nepal. In September 2014 he releases the second full length Kokobloko album ‘FutureProof’ through Future Tribe Office’. In February 2015 A Collaboration with Matteo Radice from Italy leads to their collaborative ‘Brain Board’ Album Release also on F.T.O. The second Makumba EP “Spirit Matters” has been released on Insomnia records in December 2015 and since that moment Mario represents the label worldwide as a part of insomnian collective.

Lurker is the name of the new project of Helder Amaral aka Rawar.
After many years producing different kinds of psychedelic music and absorbing all kind of influences Helder decides now to create Lurker.
Lurker mixes the vibe of the forest with different layered technological sounds and pumping bass lines. Directed to the dance floor, the music of Lurker will teleport you into a dimension where dance and mind travelling are mandatory and where, we, the psychedelic party people, enjoy so much!
Helder is nowadays based in the city of Innsbruck, right by the Austrian Alps.

Lurker first release, a Free Download EP of 4 tracks - A Spiral Of Feelings, was released by Parvati Records in March 2017 followed one year after, in May 2018 by his second EP - Imaginary Lines.
