The IONO Series continues with EGORYTHMIA and some highlights about the psy-Balkan scene and his upcoming compilation ANTIMATERIA.

Irregular pulses are morphing into a melodic harmonic story, each time a different one, each time a different plot, but every time – Egorythmia, aka Boban Lazovski.
Egorythmia’s path has never gone in a specific pattern... His attraction to Psychedelic Trance began with deep dark tech Trance such as Dark Soho, the Delta , Atmos and Midi Miliz , and then went further back to old school Goa Trance such as Cosma , Man with No Name and Etnica… Being hypnotized by these astonishing sounds in his home at Skopje, Macedonia, he felt the need to take part in this mysterious culture and create his own psychedelic interpretation. And so, in the year 2001, he started to gradually penetrate into the culture, first as a DJ and party promoter, and then when the urge to bring his own mark increased, Lazovski started to make his own sound. In 2008, Egorythmia has emerged into the world.

His unique and magnetic sound has quickly got Iono Music’s attention and he was immediately signed to join our family in 2008 and released his first EP – Night Sight. Since that moment his music skyrocketed across the Psychedelic Progressive Trance sky with the notable hits- Beyond Gravity EP in 2010 and his remix to Ace Ventura – Dark Matter in 2011. Another significant landmark is his edited compilation Forensic Science in 2011 and the second edition of the compilation he did in collaboration with E-Clip, aka Marko Radovanovic from Serbia. This partnership did not end there and a new project – Time Travellers - has boiled up from the great sonic chemistry these two have. With these tunes
Egorythmia has got the whole world hooked up on his music. Travelling all around the globe to spread his religion, he made stops in Boom festival, Fusion Festival, Ozora festival, Antaris festival, Vuuv Experience festival as well as making turbulences in Israel, Brazil, Mexico and Australia. Along the way he met many like-minded artists whom he collaborated with, such as Ace Ventura, Ritmo, Zen Mechanics, Symbolic, E-Clip, and Zyce. These collaborations and his music have been released in many labels, for instance Blue Tunes, Iboga, Echoes, and Plusquam. Always on the move, Egorythmia is fired up and his flame is going to get bigger and brighter. Follow the heat, follow the light.

EGORYTHMIA | Iono Music Showcase Vol. 2 | 13/11/2015

Ionos Music's next edition will be presented by Israeli-based Anton Maiko aka MINDWAVE. His show starts on 10 December Thursday @ 8pm CET on the Trance channel.

We are surrounded by all the communication opportunities technology has to offer. However, as humankind had progressed and became more urbanized, it lost something on the way. The more we moved away from nature, we lost the natural gifts that were given to us, such as the ability to mediate without words, what some call telepathy. Most people do not even realize what they have lost, while others who experience the last remaining of it call it 'luck'. But some people never gave up; they saw an even bigger picture – the ability to communicate with huge amount of people at once with a Mindwave. This particular wave is transformed through divine music that curves a special tunnel of communication where the language or the country from which you arrive does not matter. The only thing that does matter is your ability to let go, open your mind and surrender to the music.

Mindwave, the person who revived this telepathic force, is Anton Maiko, originally from Russia, who immigrated to Israel in 1991. He fell in love with electronic music when he was 6 years old, through his older brother. Names like The Prodigy, Scooter and later on MFG and Astral Projection and Cosma inspired his understanding that these beats, especially when they don't have traditional lyrics, can transcend to huge crowds. Already at the age of 13, he started to play the keyboard trusting his intuitions and teaching himself, while exploring new methods of composition. A few years after that he wanted to improve his sound skills and studied at BPM School, for a more refined sound.

His Psytrance-Progressive magic was revealed in his debut album Escape from Reality in 2009, which was released at Phonokol. It was a rare and unique demonstration of superb music that opened a channel of communication that lasts till this day. A year after, in 2010, Mindwave released his second album Awaken, which made an even wider path towards people across the world. Before releasing his third album in 2012, Concept of Freedom, Maiko conducted a thorough field research in order to reach the highest level of connection between his mind and the crowd's mind. His report can be heard in this album, where various interpretations of Freedom can be heard, felt and danced. People across the globe have already experienced these sensations in various festivals such as O.Z.O.R.A Festival (Hungary), Vuuv Experience (Germany), Aurora (Greece), Spiritual Healing (Germany), Boom (Portugal) and many more.

So whether you are in the city, nature, island or boat, it is time to discover a sense you have lost, an extension of your human abilities that was just waiting to be used. The way to reach it is through Mindwave.

Astrix - He.art [Full Album Mix]

A 2 in 1 special Iono episode is coming to you with RITMO, who’s also on his way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016, and his newest album Adventures.

Some say that our pulse gives us the rhythm of our body, life and soul. This rhythm is changing while we walk, run, eat, jump or have sex. Dubi Dagan, aka Ritmo, has managed to formulate a unique technique that captures moments in our lives and translates them into an addictive rhythmic Progressive Trance creation.
Dagan has been tuning his sound skills as a resident DJ at the Luna Club at Haifa, and later as a sound engineer at DubiDub studios, a company responsible for dubbing television and cinema. Hungry for the perfect sound, Dubi started to create his own music, and in 2007 joined the acclaimed Iono Music records. In 2008, he released his awaited debut album “Disharmonic Silence” and immediately gained attention and popularity, locally and globally.
After the release of the debut album, Dagan had little rest or sleep due to the massive number of collaborations and gigs he had done across the world. Among the many incredible events he took part in were Fusion festival (Germany), Ozora Festival (Hungary), BAT (Argentina), Tribe (Brazil), Xxxperience (Brazil), Universo Paralello Festival (Brazil), Eclipse 2012 (Australia), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Love & Light (South Africa) and many more.
In 2009, Ritmo released “Archive 9” collaborating with artists and forms of remixes. His remix for MUTe & Shay Nassi – On Off, topped the Beatport charts at the Psychedelic Trance section, for 2 weeks. Always exploring his musical skills, Dagan has joined forces with Alon Brillant (Suntree) in a project called RITREE, as well as a project called Arctic with Gaudium.
In 2011 Ritmo released “Phrase A” and then in 2013 “Phrase B” which mark another development in crafting his sound. His most ambitious project to date is his current new album – “Adventures” – which comes out in 2016. This magical soundscape captures and modulates the diverse rhythms Dagan absorbed during his tours across the world. “Adventures” shows Ritmo’s sonic versatility, where he also collaborates with major acts such as Astrix, Ace Ventura and Liquid Soul. Tune in and join the adventure while blending in the rhythm and make it your own.

for the first 5 years of writing electronic music I was making dubby, DnB, Jungle, Hip hop and experimental music. It wasn't until my friend convinced me to try and write a trance tune (which I refused to do for a long time) ' The Moof is Rooving ' I played at one of my first sets as the last track at a small out door festival in the forest outside of nelson along side my dubby experimental music and as soon as the first kick dropped people were coming out of the trees and running to the dance floor and dancing like people having an exorcism. Once I was back home after the summer in nelson I started to write psy break and some more psychedelic stuff. as the next summer came around I had a full set of tunes to play and was pushed into the spot light playing greats times and having an amazing response.
The fractal of life opened up in front of me and I have surfed that wave far and wide playing grouch all over the world. The problem was that I didn't have enough time to write enough even grouch music which is why my album on zenon records " Corpus Callosum' took me upwards of 5 years to finish.

I knew that as soon as the album was done and I was back from touring it I would be getting deep and going back to my roots and writing music that just comes out of me so naturally - LOVE it it comes straight from my heart and I am so happy to have had the time and support to finish this piece of my self.

My journey in life through my music is a transformation healing path where i am having to face my insecurities of being on stage where I often get stage fright BUT the love of my passion for music has kept me getting up on stage and facing the fear. Every time I get up there I have a healing experience, facing my fears with my love and so I grow and feel humbled to the core from this Life's blessing of giving me a passion I knew I would never let go.

Look deeply enough into any underground music scene and you’re bound to find a handful of producers and DJs who have been with the scene for the better part of their life. They’re not always the ones headlining global festivals and running biannual thirty-city tours, but show up to any of their performances—no matter the environment or time slot—and you’ll find the dance floor alive with movement and a colorful mixture of friends, fans, and dazzled newcomers all moving to the music like they’ve been doing it for years. Creating dynamic dance floor experiences every time they assume command of the decks and maintaining relevance long after the come-and-gones have had their time in the spotlight, it is these artists who serve as the mortar of the scene and keep the sonic narrative flowing from one season to the next. 

Luke Mandala is one such artist. A longtime fixture of the west coast underground dance scene, he is known for his uplifting productions and live performances in the realms of house and techno, world-inspired chill-out, and vibrant psychedelic bass. Producing the latter under the moniker of “Mandala Affect” and all of his uptempo under his original pseudonym, Luke Mandala has created hundreds of songs in a breadth of musical styles and genres since first entering the scene two decades ago. His tracks have appeared both domestic and abroad on a multitude of esteemed labels, including Desert Hearts, Merkaba Music, Traum, Selador, Digital Structures, and his own label, Activated Recordings. 


Luke Mandala’s latest sonic excursion takes him into the realm of ethereal house on psychedelic electronica label Desert Trax. Conceived as a heart-opening track for the emotive journeyer, “It’s All About” is a sunrise-lover’s dream that yearns to be enjoyed on a morning dance floor amidst one’s closest and most intimate friends. Beginning with evocative piano grounded by a soft and persistent beat, it expands into a progressive journey through dreamy chords and danceable grooves while maintaining a warm and shimmering drive that crests but never truly breaks. 

“It’s All About” was released by Desert Trax in the spring of 2018 as a remix contest—Luke’s second such release with the label. Two submissions were selected for the EP along with a third remix that was arranged by Desert Trax: an uplifting, progressive mix by Pranavah (a new project by Brad Moontribe and Griffin Paisley), a warm and spacious breaks track by Bay Area DJ and producer Keerd, and a soothing deep-tech rework by German techno duo Unique Repeat. 

Echoing the melodic tones of the original mix while exploring a wider range of textures, energy levels, and emotions, the tracks demonstrate the tunability of Luke Mandala’s dreamy atmospheres to different sonic flavors, frequencies, and intensities. Each is a unique journey into the sublime and ethereal united by the joyful, journey-like hallmarks of the original composition. 

Administered in the right set and setting, it is tracks like these that have the ability to propel listeners into positive head- and heartspaces that some may go an entire lifetime without glimpsing. With its pleasant and restorative undertones, “It’s All About” in its various incarnations offers a mesmerizing opportunity to peel back the illusory layers of separation we so often throw up and embrace the unifying and universal sensation of joy—be it alone at home, with a stranger on a dance floor, or in the intangible worlds that live within us all.

Klara Vedis started as a resident of the all-girl techno crew Code XX parties hosted at Kapan Han in 2015, and is responsible for some of the most forward thinking electronic sounds coming from Macedonia. She is growing as an artist, live performer and a beloved DJ that brings a special kind of emotional energy to every show. She contacted us after Ozora festival: she slept in the Dome every night and got inspired in her dreams by that vibe. That is how we knew she had something special to come up with. She finally created an eclectic, ambient and rythm infused trip that truly captivates the imagiantion. Please welcome Klara with her ambient project, Vedis.

The artist’s discography is in perpetual evolution. From experimental halfstep dnb, deep & dark techno, to a dreamy & melancholy ambient journey. Owl has quietly been rising through the ranks of a genre-bending leftﬁeld sound where sonic depth and expressiveness prevail. He put together a selection of his own and the best of the scene that is almost fluid and still athmospheric.

Music has One Function ñ To make you feel.
From the second the sound waves hit your body and soul it touches your nerves and transforms your senses.
Where and how will that feeling take you in the sonic journey depends on your mood, personality and your surroundings.
But it is that first contact point, that magical moment when you get hooked that set the rest of the tune.
This One Function, the first contact point will be facilitated by Jenia Akerman from Israel.
Akerman started his musical experimentation since he was 16 years old, playing in outdoor parties and quickly having the itch to make his own music.
Influenced by inspirational artists such as The Delta, Cosma and Hallucinogen, Akerman decided to take his craft seriously and at the age of 19 went to BPM music School.
Polishing his ideas and artistic identity, he released his first release in 2009 called Tropical Energy on Spliff Music.
Exploring his abilities even further, in 2011 Jenia started his first solo project Unicode, a melodic and uplifting Progressive Trance fusion.
As Unicode, Akerman released his tunes in all the big labels such as Iboga, Blue Tunes, Spin Twist and Iono Music.

As Jeniaís project developed he decided to go back to his roots with Progressive Trance under the alias One Function.
In this project Akerman decided to focus more on spirituality, while combining oriental vocals and old school elements, which create his own unique psychedelic interpretation.
His first release as One Function ñ Back to My Roots EP – was released in 2015 on Iono Music and received immediate attention across the world.
Supported by the biggest names in the Psytrance scene, from Protonica , John 00 Fleming , Egorythmia, Yahel and Guadium he is conquering the global sonic sphere.
After playing in many indoor and outdoor events including: Australia, Swiss, Germany, Israel, France, Argentina,
his path to your One Function is set.
