January Show Summary (2016)

This studio mix was created to present the recently released third full album by XOXO & T.i.T, titled Mothership. It features all tracks from the album, along with a few other recent releases.  XoXo is the solo project of French artist Olivier Mirat. Living in Paris, he developed an interest in electronic music from a young age. After many years as a DJ across various genres—mainly psytrance—he formed the Life Extension project in 2002. Under this alias, three full albums were released on Avigmatic, Geomagnetic, and Dacru Records. In early 2020, the XoXo project was born. This new endeavor continues the path of Life Extension with energetic, melodic full-on psytrance. The project quickly gained momentum through active production and releases on labels such as Dacru Records, Utopia, and Talamasca’s Trance Sphere. In June 2022, a collaborative full album with USA-based artist T.i.T was released on Dacru Records. Later that year, Olivier was officially signed to the Belgian melodic full-on powerhouse label. Since then, two more full albums have followed on Dacru Records. The future looks bright!

XOXO | Dacru Records Series EP. 20 | 04/07/2025

This radiOzora mix celebrates KLIPSUN's debut on Stone Seed with his track “The Freak IA”, opening the Seed: Infra mini-compilation out July 18th. In this exclusive live set, Klipsun showcases his signature psytechno sound, with a touch of his hybrid progressive style. KLIPSUN is the project of Brazilian producer Lucas Bonatto, known for his deep, cinematic take on electronic music. His breakthrough came in 2015 with Ambivalent Fields on Zenon Records, earning support from artists like Sensient and Ace Ventura. Blending hypnotic sound design with rich harmonies, his music spans psytrance, progressive, and experimental styles. In Brazil, he’s known for his immersive sets with DM7, and in 2022, he co-founded CronoCops, releasing the acclaimed album Who Built It?. Now signed to Iboga Records and IbogaTech, Klipsun is preparing his debut solo album for 2025, marking 10 years of innovation in electronic music.

ADN Music presents TULSY. Tulsy is a multigenre project with a backbone made of different subgenres of Psytrance such as Dark Prog and PsyProg, and a fusion of several elements taken from Orchestral music, Dub, Bass music, and more. His live sets are enriched by live guitar performance. About the mix in Tulsy's words: "This is the live set I played at ADN Music Festival, summer 2025. It contains tracks from my last EP and a few unreleased tracks, some of them will be on my upcoming EP. It also has a few tracks from artists who fed my passion for psychedelic music.

I have not had this much fun compiling and mixing a psytrance set in a long time. What an energy loaded, uplifting, very danceable production from @sacredsecretlive. JAHRIN takes the spotlight in this Comet Collective episode. Jahrin is the musical project of Yarin Bar, launched in 2018. His fascination with music was sparked at 16 through underground parties, and just a few years later, a life-changing festival in Israel set him firmly on the path of creating transformative, trance-inducing soundscapes. Shaped by private studies with leading Israeli artists, Jahrin draws inspiration from psytrance culture, raves, and nature gatherings, weaving in elements of blues, rock, funk, and ethnic sounds with live instruments like the baglama and guitar. As co-founder of Comet Collective with Itay Aluf (Elastic), he works to support and showcase emerging electronic artists on an international stage. This episode features a new improvised mix, including unreleased tracks from his upcoming album and fresh collaborations with friends, an intimate glimpse into Jahrin’s evolving journey through psychedelic sound.

DJ GOVINDA is joining us in this edition of Festival Frequency for a talk, followed by a special mix for radiOzora, highlighting what BELIEVE can do with some JUNGLE CALLING and all else you can expect from him and the family, bringing us and spreading the culture, energy and shanti of psytrance.

Govinda is an Italian dj and psytrance party organizer. Born in 1986 to parents who had been traveling for many years, he grew up living in Goa experiencing its magic and freaky context from an early age. His first party in 1999 brought a full understanding of the Goa reality with its emphasis on freedom, and manifested his attraction to trance music. He started collecting music and playing it, at first with a Minidisc player and later with CDJs. In 2002, Govinda played his first dj set in the well-known Ninebar in Goa, thus marking the beginning of his dj career. He instantaneously loved the feeling of enjoyment he could provide through music and the palpable interconnection that forms on a dancefloor. After a practice season, he was soon playing in the main legendary party spots in Goa: Discovalley, Paradiso, Primrose, Monkey Valley, Hilltop and many more. In 2005, he was signed to Spun records (the GMS label). Two years later, he went on his first international tour where he played along artists such as GMS, Pixel, Alien Project, Spacecat, Domestic, Perplex and Psysex, in Thailand, Nepal, Goa as well as several European countries. During the Goa season of 2007/2008, Govinda started following a different vibe and looking for a more psychedelic sound that would best fit his personality. At the time, Phatmatix, Digital Talk and Concept were his favorite artists. At the Mountain Madness Festival in Nepal of 2008, he played a set right before Ajja and fell in love with his sound. The meeting also started a connection with Peak Records, which later led to Govinda being signed on as a label dj. While frequently performing at Goan hotspots such as Club Westend, Hilltop, Ninebar and Shivavalley, he created with a group of friends the NightRainbow Project, a Goa-based party organization responsible for more than ten parties in the first season of its existence. The sum of all his experiences finally took the the shape of the organization/label Believe Lab, founded by him and a few other fellas. Today Govinda and Believe Lab have been an important operator in international festivals in Italy, as Blackmoon Festival, Sonica. Believe Lab actively organized its own festival, 7 Chakras, where Govinda and his crew finally have the chance to promote positive messages as environmental awareness and self respect to people through music. His musical journey is not over yet and his dj sets are just fitting more and more any kind of psychedelic dancefloor.

In this edition of Iono Series we're talking with Yarden Yogev & Tzahi Geller, an Israeli duo project, SIDE EFFECTS topped with a mix mae especially for radiOzora.

Side Effects are Yarden Yogev and Tzahi Geller, good friends since their childhood and come from Israel. Yarden was fascinated by the whole process of writing music, sound and production from an early age, especially drawn to The Delta’s album Scizoeffective and Cosma's album Simplicity. His first encounter with Trance happened when he was 13 years old when he bought a cassette of Goa Vibes vol. 1 in a local music shop. Since that moment he was hooked and sucked into the Psytrance oblivion and knew he had to be a part of its creators. Tzahi encountered Psytrance in an early age through friends and started to go to parties in age 16 to absorb the real deal. He started to toy with production and music while experimenting with all the options that came to his mind. Both have been heavily influenced by artists such as Freq, X-Dream, Ace Ventura, Astrix, Atmos and many more. After years of mutual exchange of inspirational musical molecules they have decided to join forces to one powerful compound, and in 2011 – Side Effects was born.

The massive Side Effects that these two leave after consuming their music is immediately felt – powerful, intoxicating and exhilarating melodic sensation. They have released in various labels such as Plusquam, Iboga, TesseracTstudio and of course brewed some quality top notch ingredients at Iono Music such as the EPs One Man’s Vision, Complete Control and Black Hole. But of course as a nomad assemblage they have spread their Side Effects all over the world. Through these voyages they have joined forces with other artist to augment their contagious formula such as Symbolic, Time Lock, Egorythmia, Time in Motion, Zyce, Sideform and others. As their potion grows stronger and more sophisticated it is safe to say that every ride into their dimension will be a trip you will never forget.
