Label Selection: Basic Channel & Chain Reaction | Alagi Presents Sub-Y-Dub-Y-Doo Ep. 41 | 05/02/2023

The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.

But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

At the beginning of 2019, he released his first  work 'A Vision Of Light' in Danza Nativa, where currently he is one of the pillars of the label based in Buenos Aires.

This December was the first time I was asked to warm up the tent and set the mood for the party, a slot I've been dying to play. The tent is a place I've come to love in the winter, just as much as I love the garden in the summer."

About Sebastian Bayne:
Sebastian Bayne is not just a DJ – he's a conductor of energy, using sonic journeys to transcend boundaries. Bayne’s style is rooted in the belief that every great performance is a mutual exchange and flow between the crowd and the artist. Bayne hails from sun-kissed Australia, but his approach to techno is deeply connected to the UK sound. He was born in the UK and influenced by the iconic clubs and vibrant scene in London. His style pays homage to the rich tradition of British techno and innovative British music production. His early experiences in the UK ignited his love of electronic music and rave culture. As the year comes to an end, so does the final chapter of Concrete Stories on Fnoob Radio. For the past seven years, this show has been a platform to connect with an incredible array of electronic selectors, giving them the freedom to share their creativity and unique vision through music. To end a transformative year for the label we say goodbye to 2024 with an icon from the deep scene and amazing human being, Brando Lupi. Deep and classic Italian artist known for his eclectic style as a producer, musician, DJ, and photographer. Combining hypnotic techno with deep atmospheres, haunting melodies and visionary soundscapes, drawing inspiration from industrial rock, experimental and modern classical music.

Brando has a rich history of collaborations with talented artists such as Donato Dozzy and has made a name for himself in the global music scene. In 2000, he founded his independent record label, Detune Records, which has been a platform for his releases. His music has been featured on notable labels such as Kompakt, Orange Groove, Dewtone Recordings, Field Records, and Elettronica Romana, among many others.

One of Brando’s standout achievements was composing a score for the film La Solitudine Dei Numeri Primi (The Solitude of Prime Numbers), which was distributed by Medusa and included a soundtrack signed by Mike Patton, leader of Faith No More. The film’s music premiered at the 67th Venice Film Festival, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Currently based in Rome, the artist continues to craft and share his experimental and spiritual soundscapes with audiences worldwide, pushing the boundaries of contemporary music and art in general. Without more words, we let the music talk by itself. Thank you Brando.

I didn't get as many made as I  wanted. None-the-less, here are a few tracks I made over the month of October 2025. I am also including a previous track that fits the theme.
