In times of crisis we need to open our hearts, and after the Nepal earthquake I could not sit quiet. Therefore, I decided to dedicate "Some Kind of Rhythm 004" to aid Nepalese who got injured in this devastating tragedy.

All you have to do is download and share it (if you liked it, of course). During a week I will create a counter of your downloads, for each download I commit to donate 50 cent ($) to aid Nepal. If we will reach more than 2,000 downloads I will donate 1000$, and if we will reach less then I will donate according to the counter. I will post a screen picture of the counter after that week including the donation check.

In this 11th episode of United Beats Recods series the label introduces dj/producer BLOCK DEVICE.

Ludovic Benhamou is the man behind the behemoth that is Block Device. Ludovic was born in 1985 in France, and has been laboring in the studio for over 7 years now. The story tells of a teenager influenced by alien radio waves in Paris known as “Max” (Fun Radio), “Rave Up” (Radio FG) or Skyrave (Skyrock).
The electronic sound was in his blood from then on. As he progressed in his search for more of the best music around, he quickly got a job in Paris’s most prestigious underground record shop, Techno Import. This was a gateway into the future, as Ludovic quickly gained respect from his peers, spreading the vibe with his dj sets around the city. Ludovic’s passion for technology led him to start producing music as a way to create even better sounds and beats. Being also a computer engineer, he has all the tools to get the most out of every machine he lays his hands on, innovating with new techniques from the future. With these tools, he can truly show his love for precision and quality as well as channel the power of the stars, the ancient shamans and the aliens travelling through worlds.
As words went around, he eventually met up with X.S.I. one night at the Gibus club in Paris. They now collaborate on various musical projects. Block has already graced the world of his knowledge with many EPs and a ground breaking album all on United Beats Records as well as countless tracks on various compilations.

Sangoma Records series continues with an exclusive mix by COSINUS including his freshest tunes.

Cosinus was born in Germany 1979 and currently living in Biel, Switzerland. Michael discovered the world of electronic music at the age of 13 and was inspired by artist like Yello, Kraftwerk and the sounds of Detroit techno and house music. His first steps in his DJ career started behind a pair of turntables at a local youth club in his hometown. After 20 years of rocking dancefloors with his energetic sets he put his focus now on his own musical creations that he plays in his livesets (and occasional DJ sets). Cosinus is signed to Sangoma Records and released tracks on labels such as Woodog Records, Macky Mad House Records, Subsystem Records,Forestdelic Records to name just a few. In 2015 he released his first EP “Mudulated Frequencies” and compiled Ironic Creatures and Ironic Cultures with DJ Izzy on Sangoma. So far he played in Germany, Austria, USA, Switzerland and the Netherlands. His sound can be described as epic pumping, jumping and snarling forest psytrance – a fusion between nighttime psychedelic and deep forest friendly atmospheres. His story fits perfectly to the early hours of the morning as well as the middle of the night – powerful music to tune on heads. An artist that shouldn’t be missed at any party.

Labirhythm Radio Show is back with it’s third epsidoe in which you can listen kroko, live and direct from the studio.

Kornel Szabo a.k.a. kroko, strictly with lower case K, was already passionate about loud music as a toddler thanks to his autodidact-rockstar father and growing up around and during his rehearsals and gigs. As his brother is also a trained drummer, the connection to music was always strong. In 2010 when he got in touch with psychedelic music he felt at once that it was the kind of vibration that he had always been looking for. At the end of 2013 he got a pair of CDJ-100 and a reloop dj mixer, his friend Gerő showed him the basics and an unstoppable process was set into motion. He “disappeared“ for a few months, burning cds and mixing (in pyjamas) from morning till nightfall, trying to find his own path to becoming a DJ. His brother Vektor Equlibrium spent a lot of time with him, bringing and showing new music, mixing together.
His first DJ performance took place at a private party in May 2014 and he also played at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival’s Pumpui Stage that very summer, many times for hours on end because he was the fill-in DJ in case someone could not show up to play. 2015 was full of even more inspiration and motivation as he started the year in Goa, India, followed by invites to play at private parties, at a radiOzora party in Prague and in Vienna with DJ Tsubi, at the Chakacsütörtök party series in Budapest and performed at O.Z.O.R.A. 2015 to a full house crowd twice at Pumpui and also played the last set at the official after party. You can also hear him ‘live from the studio’ as a radiOzora DJ and be sure not to miss him, one of the blazing young guns of the Hungarian scene.

Celli Earthling OPENING NIGHT DJ Set @ OZORA Festival, 2016

United Beats Records‘s series next edition will be performed by label founder MAD MAXX.

Max Peterson has been performing and releasing his unique brand of trance music under various project names since 1998. Max was born in San Diego, California in 1979, and spent most of his teenage years in France. He then developed his production and performance skills in California, Mexico, Spain, and every part of the planet with a vibrant trance scene.
Max’s passion for music began at a young age. Max’s father Gary Peterson is a highly accomplished composer, guitarist, and keyboard player. Gary was a member of influential 60’s-70’s cult band “Formerly Fat Harry”. His band played next to legends such as Pink Floyd, Roy Harper, Third ear band, King Crimson, Fleetwood mac, to name a few… Max’s first tracks were recorded and produced by Gary when Max was just 14 years old.

Upon moving to the U.S., Maxx joined the pioneering trance music collective and record store – The Ion Exchange in Santa Cruz – as co-owner and resident DJ. Maxx moved onto DJ’ing in San Francisco, playing for all the Bay Area’s trance venues including the trance collective CCC. He also performed at all the underground warehouse and outdoor events in Northern California. Max quickly gained respect for his stomping deep psychedelic sets. At this time he also toured Canada and other cities in the USA.

In 2000, Max formed the seminal San Francisco trance project BIODEGRADABLE with Samy Guediche of CPU, and Nicolas Oesch of Mekkanikka. In 2001, they released their album Phaser which received great success at the time in the psychedelic scene and became a springboard for all members to launch their successful solo projects.

In 2001, Max joined up with Davina Elmosnino and formed the trance project Sirius Isness. Sirius Isness went on to release more than 150 tracks on prestigious trance labels. Sirius releases 3 full length albums “Resolution of Duality, Breaking the Matrix , Trancefusion” and 1 compilation. The first album was released on Moon Spirits records in 2004, the second on Mind Control Records in 2005, and the third was released in 2006 on Phantasm records, accompanied by their compilation, Mind Your Own Isness. Sirius Isness has traveled to almost every country where trance parties happen. Their most popular destinations are Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, Greece, Australia to name a few.

Max, then started in his solo project in 2007- MAD MAXX- the result of years of hard work, perfecting a unique sound, embodying all the travels, experiences and parties of the past 20 years. The music is a mix of trance, ethnic and deep sounds, with a strong kick and ominous bass line, an electro touch, emotional chants, and at times nostalgic atmospheres, with a BPM ranging from 138 to 145 in general. All of this sonic mayhem delivered in a whirlwind of psychedelia of course….

MAD MAXX has been delivering his live set to all trance freaks in the world on a weekly basis, and has collaborated with numerous artists…including JOHN 00 FLEMING, SKAZI, PIXEL, AVALON, SONIC SPECIES, STRYKER, BLOCK DEVICE, MENOG, TRISTAN, SPACE TRIBE, GMS, PAINKILLER , POLI, XSI, S-RANGE, VOYAGER (aka Altom), BIO-GENESIS, AUDIO X, BIONIX, MEKKANIKKA , DIGITAL TALK, JOHN PHANTASM and more…

The first MAD MAXX album “AFTERWORLD”, was released May 2008 on PHANTASM records. The second MAD MAXX album was released in June 2011 on his label, UNITED BEATS RECORDS. MAD MAXX’s 3rd album will be out in fall of 2015 on UNITED BEATS RECORDS….

This set I recorded especially for our party promotion crew: Labirhythm, as the 5th podcast in order at radiOzora  studio, and I represent with this one of my vision of a potential nightie dancefloor, filled with positive energy and continous blasting:)

Labirhythm Radio Show doubles up this month. The second October edition of the showcase will celebrated by our hippie from the outer void, DR SPACE.

Miska a.k.a. Dr Space from Hungary learned and played traditional South-African music for years, and started his musical carrier in a psychedelic/space rock band, playing electronic drums, FX instruments and traditional percussions. As their concerts warmed up, followed by DJ/sets, he also started playing his own eclectic selection of different genres from trip-hop to psytrance. Gig by gig he felt more complete DJ-ing only for the dancefloor and played his first festival set as „Dr Space“ “ in 2009 @ 4.49 psychedelic gathering. Thence he became well-known, and is considered one of the pioneers of the underground Hungarian scene today, asked to entertain the crowds at most domestic promotion crews’, as well as many international parties and festivals in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Israel, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, etc. Since its establishment, he has been part of radiOzora’s DJ rooster and is a resident at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival. He plays in the fringe of different sub-genres without stigmatizing it dark, forest or full-on, to pace a groovy psychedelic journey around 144-150 BPM both during the day and nighttime.

Gorgo is a well-known member of the Hungarian goa/psytrance scene from the Golden Age till nowadays.
Based in Budapest but having traveled across Europe for his musical education while dj-ing for more than a decade and lately producing his own tunes which soon be released. He has long been a crowd favorite at the Ozora festival which made him ready for any main stage on the planet.

Gorgo has a keen ability to understand the crowd at hand and has the range to come up with the most unexpected musical journeys. No doubt this guy will be one of the acts to look for once the album is released. In the mean time he continues to amaze crowds with his finely tuned sets.

On the next edition of Enter the Labirhythm, DR SPACE is providing to us one hour of mind-blowing psychedelic music, as an appetizer for the next Sangoma Records x Labirhythm event.

Miska a.k.a. Dr Space from Budapest is one of the first member of our RadiOzora Dj -Rooster, resident Dj, and Stage manager of the Ozorian mainstage.
He plays diverse psytrance sets adapted to the ambiance without stigmatizing it dark, progressive or full-on, mixing in the fringe of different sub-styles to give a groovy psychedelic journey around 140-150 BPM.

Forestdelic record’s Hungarian resident and RadiOzora’s own Dr Space first set in the label series has been recorded at Epocha Lake festival, kicking out the Summer season with his cool selection of some funky-head-bangers, tracks from their freshly released compilation w/ DJ Tsubi, and the very first time with a taster of his own soundwaves.

Miska from Budapest a.k.a. Dr Space learned and played traditional South-African music for years, and played in a psychedelic/space rock band, combining traditional and electronic percussion instruments; authentic, and shaped tribal drum sounds with twisted effects.
He has begun to play different style DJ sets for friend’s entertainment at small parties, before or after their band’s concerts, just-for-fun. In 1-2 years, and several promising parties in 2009 he started to play as “Dr Space” mostly UK-full-on style sets, accepting requests from the Hungarian scene. At the first times introduced by a Budapest based underground psychedelic crew (4.49 festival / Psyweekend), at their parties and festivals. By this time he is in charge for the technical-and and artist management at one of this underground festivals, where he met first time the psychedelic culture’s wonder.
Thence, more and more possibilities opened up to entertain the party people with his taste of selection at indoor parties, and open-air festivals, in Hungary, neighbour European countries, and far places like Israel. Joined to the label “Starsheep Systems”, that started by O.z.o.r.a. festival’s promoter in 2012.
With the influences of psytrance technical evolution now he plays more diverse sets adapted to the ambience usually night-time, calling “pure psychedelic trance”, without stigmatizing it dark, progressive or full-on, mixing in the fringe of different sub-styles to give a groovy psychedelic journey around 145-150 BPM. The high-class sound, deep, ecstatic tunes, trippy melodies, and powerful continuous dynamics give character to his sets.
His confession is, that psychedelic trance producers are really significant “visionary artists” of our age, and this music always have to be innovative and surprising technically, nevertheless primordial in the impressions. According this the DJ have scope to transmit the experience of wondering through sharing music, that helps to get in touch with our instinct beings.
