Psylife Records series continues with a magical new chill-out show from YARN called Smooth Vibrations on Thursday 15th May 8pm CET onwards on our Chill channel.

Hungarian Ferenc Majercsik and Nandor Horvath, the young producers behind Yarn are creating deep and imaginative chill-out music together since 2011. They are relentlessly working on new enchanting tunes to be released on Psylife Records in the near future and are already after three succesful releases. Their debut album YARNIA came out only a few months before the Yarn guys received an invitation to play the mind-boggling tunes in the Chillout Dome of O.Z.O.R.A. Festival in 2013.
Their live set in Ozora turned quite a few heads since then and was followed three two beautiful EP releases: Questions & Answers, Inner Expedition and Magic Planet.

Yarn music sounds like a constant metamorphosis of swirling ambient soundscapes, touching melodies and floating beats. A playful fusion of mesmerizing rhythms and mystic atmospheres always with a hint of psychedelic effects. Tune in 15th May on Thursday 8pm CET or catch one of the reruns: Friday 2pm, Saturday 8am, Sunday 2am CET for Yarn's exclusive radiOzora show called SMOOTH VIBRATIONS on the Chill channel.

NEUROMOTOR "Old School Emotions" Psylife Series 18/09/2014

The latest episode of Psylife Series is an energizing mind-bending trip through time and space mixed by Nuon, a veteran Psy-Trance DJ in Hungary, a true Acid revivalist and co-founder of Goa.hu. His now presented Acid Fullon mix includes some crazy stompers by Dust, Everblast, Lost&Found, Tryon, Karmacrop, Shekinah or Waio among others.
Nuon is spinning psychedelic tunes from the mid-90s in Hungary as well as places like Universo Paralello in Brazil or Goa in India. An enthusiastic messenger of the Acid revival in the psychedelic scene, the last few years Nuon is playing deep and twisted but very clever night time sounds full of Acid elements and hypnotic trippy vibes. Inspired by his regular winter season visits to India he is spreading around the most intricate mind boggling sounds you only hear on the magical shores of Goa nowadays, and also started to experiment with producing his own music.

Robert Rohaly a.k.a. StereOmantra is back on radiOzora with an exclusive mix based on his latest album 'Synethesia'.

StereOMantra is Robert Rohaly, a Hungarian music composer from Budapest. After years of classical piano studies he made his first electronic music compositions in the 90′s, experimenting with Impulse Tracker and even older “DAW”s and gradually developed to an advanced level through related studies and much practice.

Ever since the genre exists, he has been believing that that art and science meets most perfectly in psytrance, therefore he tried himself in different kinds of related genres through the years until he finally found ‘progressive chillout’ the most suitable, capable of expressing deep feelings of a wide range. Mostly inspired by chill artists like GMO & Dense, Lab’s Cloud, Aes Dana, Ascent & Argus, CBL and Solar Fields, now he is trying to raise psy chill on a new level, bringing gentle new atmospheric trippy chill sounds to you ears.

DJ GOVINDA is joining us in this edition of Festival Frequency for a talk, followed by a special mix for radiOzora, highlighting what BELIEVE can do with some JUNGLE CALLING and all else you can expect from him and the family, bringing us and spreading the culture, energy and shanti of psytrance.

Govinda is an Italian dj and psytrance party organizer. Born in 1986 to parents who had been traveling for many years, he grew up living in Goa experiencing its magic and freaky context from an early age. His first party in 1999 brought a full understanding of the Goa reality with its emphasis on freedom, and manifested his attraction to trance music. He started collecting music and playing it, at first with a Minidisc player and later with CDJs. In 2002, Govinda played his first dj set in the well-known Ninebar in Goa, thus marking the beginning of his dj career. He instantaneously loved the feeling of enjoyment he could provide through music and the palpable interconnection that forms on a dancefloor. After a practice season, he was soon playing in the main legendary party spots in Goa: Discovalley, Paradiso, Primrose, Monkey Valley, Hilltop and many more. In 2005, he was signed to Spun records (the GMS label). Two years later, he went on his first international tour where he played along artists such as GMS, Pixel, Alien Project, Spacecat, Domestic, Perplex and Psysex, in Thailand, Nepal, Goa as well as several European countries. During the Goa season of 2007/2008, Govinda started following a different vibe and looking for a more psychedelic sound that would best fit his personality. At the time, Phatmatix, Digital Talk and Concept were his favorite artists. At the Mountain Madness Festival in Nepal of 2008, he played a set right before Ajja and fell in love with his sound. The meeting also started a connection with Peak Records, which later led to Govinda being signed on as a label dj. While frequently performing at Goan hotspots such as Club Westend, Hilltop, Ninebar and Shivavalley, he created with a group of friends the NightRainbow Project, a Goa-based party organization responsible for more than ten parties in the first season of its existence. The sum of all his experiences finally took the the shape of the organization/label Believe Lab, founded by him and a few other fellas. Today Govinda and Believe Lab have been an important operator in international festivals in Italy, as Blackmoon Festival, Sonica. Believe Lab actively organized its own festival, 7 Chakras, where Govinda and his crew finally have the chance to promote positive messages as environmental awareness and self respect to people through music. His musical journey is not over yet and his dj sets are just fitting more and more any kind of psychedelic dancefloor.

After the holiday craze Psylife Records series slowly reboots in the new year in a laidback no-rush manner with Liquid Structure Vol. 2., a juicy-trippy dub set signed by psytrance legend Para Halu's up and coming Traum Atlas moniker.

Following the exotic soundscapes of the first Liquid Structure mix broadcasted by radiOzora last July, the 2nd chapter is going to keep us flying high on the magic carpet exploring diverse sonic territories ranging from abstract psychedelic electronica to smokey bass to enchanting, spiritual world and folk music. While you'll be surfing through material written by Hector Zazou, Greg Hunter, Klaus Schulze, The Moody Blues, Bill Laswell and of course Traum Atlas among others eventually you might find it uneasy to locate where each track begins and ends as Adam Hohmann sets out to create a seemless flow in which the tunes as we know them are often getting modified and combined to form one giant cohesive tale - hence the name Liquid Structure.

Traum Atlas is the abstract psychedelic world-dub-fusion outfit of Hungarian music producer Adam Hohmann, also known as Para Halu in the circle of psytrance afficionados. Following successful live performances at various events around the globe including top festivals such as Ozora or Psy-Fi, Adam is currently applying the final polishing touches to the upcoming debut album 'Alien Dreaming' soon to be released on Psylife Records. Also according to him he has nearly enough material for 4 consecutive Traum Atlas albums on his hard drive, waiting to get mixed and mastered; and these albums might even be connected in a conceptualized way.

The man behind Para Halu is Adam Hohmann, a multi-talented Hungarian producer who since his very young age has been always enchanted by music. After discovering computer based music production and trying himself in very different areas from beatless ambient to dirty ass-kicking drum’n’bass, he began writing psychedelic tunes as Para Halu in 2002. The past 14 years have seen Para Halu as part of many great international events from huge festivals such as Universo Paralello, Ozora, or Fullmoon to indoor clubs and underground gatherings from Japan to Brazil all over the world. Para Halu has produced six full-length studio albums so far as well as countless tracks on various compilations. He is releasing his latest collaborations with Fungus Funk, Hyper Frequencies, Electrypnose, Neuromotor and others on his own label Psylife Records where he released his latest albums “The Future Sound of Para Halu” in 2009 and “Acid Waltz” in 2013 as well.

While enjoying worldwide recognition with his progressive and chillout powerhouse N.A.S.A, few of us knew about Mikkel Leonhardt Rasmussen's darker side project Mutalisk he carries on with his friend Josef Neman, also from Denmark. After working on this project for a couple of years now Mutalisk has already presented several releases and live performances and they're relentlessly working on perfecting the recipe of their unique, vibrant style for the dancefloor.

With his main project N.A.S.A. Mikkel will also appear on Para Halu's new Dream Machine Remixes EP to be released around the same time as this broadcast, on Psylife Records. Lately he surprised us with a beautiful atmospheric chill out album on Iboga Records as well, called Stolen Moments.

Digital News 4, the long awaited new mix from Russian psy-master FUNGUS FUNK is yet again packed with the grooviest night psychedelic sounds as well as exciting unreleased tracks and collaborations from the genre.

Fungus Funk aka Sergey Prilepa, the legendary Russian psytrance artist began writing psychedelic tunes right before the Millenium and started to release the first Fungus Funk tracks in 2001 on record labels like Acidance Records, Discovalley or Crystal Matrix and many others. His famous debut album called “F People” came out on Acidance in 2006 overflowing with groovy baselines, aggressive synths, warm melodies and those signature psychedelic atmospheres you can still experience on every Fungus Funk release ever since, be it an own composition or a remix made for a fellow musician. The second full-length Fungus Funk album found his home at half Russian, half Australian label Blitz Music, where Sergey released his third and last album to date as well in 2010 called “Electric Grooves”.
The original Fungus Funk sound always keeps a masterful balance of complex textures and arrangements that lead the listener through a deep and interesting journey of that hazy period of time between the psychedelic night and morning. These days Fungus Funk is busy working on the material of his forthcoming new studio album and interesting side-projects such as releasing under the name Astroff or collaborating with fellow psytrance musicians like Para Halu, Obliviant, Drip Drop, Virtual Light and more.
