New series by Uroboros Records kicks off by label founder and runner ONIONBRAIN.

Onionbrain is the project founded in 2007 by Bruno Azalim, from Brazil. His music can be described as deep progressive trance with an obscure psychedelic touch. Influenced by the darker side of psychedelic trance and metal, rock n roll and industrial bands, he blends all his musical influences with the science fiction genre and morphs it into the Onionbrain music. After some years of hard work he acumulates releases on many labels like Cosmic Conspiracy, Mind Tweakers, Glitchy Tonic, Occulta and Uroboros Records (this last one founded by him and Zartrox in the beginning of 2010) and presentations in a lot of parties and festivals in Brazil, Central America and Europe

Uroboros is a symbol for the eternity, the infinite. Symbolized by a snake biting its own tail, it represents the evolution cycle, the movement and continuity. It is based on this concept that Uroboros Records grew up on the psychedelic trance scene, bringing fresh ideas to an entire musical genre. His DJ set purpose offering nocturnal sounds, Subconscient brings balance and cybernetic tendencies with an organical flux through mystical frequencies and deep, suggesting a sonic transformation for mind and soul. Breaking through sensory limits, then inducing people on dancefloor to contemplative deep state of mind, his dj set are based in tracks with psychedelic elements and introspective in a cosmic fusion through music ritual progressive and visionary, providing an unique experience by a mental dissociation and trance. His presentations reflects the capacity and straight perception to the reality aspects that usually aren’t realized through the conscious mind, concept origined the idea and his own name Subconscient.

A.Mochi is one of Len Faki’s label Figure’s central artists based in Tokyo. Already a well known artist within the worldwide techno scene, having released previously on the likes of Figure, Mote Evolver & Cocoon.
he also released his critically acclaimed debut album “Primordial-Soup”/Figure in 2010.
and worked on remix for Len Faki’s “Death By House/Cocoon” and also remix for techno classics of “Dave Clarke’ Wisdom To The Wise(Red2)/BoysNoize”.
His signature “Strong and Heavy” sound has been supported by world-class DJs and getting positive responses. A.Mochi is the Japanese producer who makes the sound of today in the world of techno and shaking the scenes around the world. You won’t regret remembering his name.

In the mix they’re showcasing several tracks from their sixth and latest album, Religare, and also some from previous ones like DNA, Global Radio, Electronic Organism and Feijoada Polyphonic.

In this show they played several tracks in their majority of the sixth and new album Religare, but some of the previous albums like DNA, Global Radio, Electronic Organism and Feijoada Polyphonic. Live work with band fusion concept with the electronic programmed and performed as arrangements of the compositions. The sixth album of the White Stone released by Merkaba Music, titled “Religare” is extremely current in contemporary world music, composed and produced by Luciano Sallun who arranged in several ethnic instruments along with electronic sounds, jazz, dub, downbeat, Brazilian, Indian, exploring a rich and comprehensive creative research.
The culture of Brazil is a rich mosaic of many cultures of the world. No wonder Pedra Branca, from São Paulo, Brazil, plays ethnic instruments and electronic timbres to create experimental Brazilian music. This concept emerges with the search for world music in the Brazilian mixed culture itself, as well as in universal and contemporary music. The group also affirms its national roots through the execution of Brazilian rhythms with instruments of other nations.
The Pedra Branca group produced since 2001 by Luciano Sallun has singularly brought a very appropriate way of making music from the world in a contemporary and universal vision. With seventeen years of existence, today it could be seen as one of the biggest Brazilian names in “world music” and undoubtedly the largest group of “chillout / downbeat/ world beat” in Brazil. With success in Brazil he was able to be a reference for many national and international projects and djs, as well as a reference for the Brazilian public, contributing gradually to the opening of these strands in Brazil.

In this episode, the focus is on Portuguese artists, RAFYX from Reversible Records. Check out his interview on Ozorian Prophet.

RAFYX is a young project created by the fine touch of Rafa, 30, from Portugal. Raised where psytrance is a niche music style and thus pretty inaccessible to the many, he had to face a difficult challenge in order to get to know the million faces of psychedelic music. This 6-years journey of self-teaching, travelling, creating connections and exploring music production, brought him to join the Reversible Records project in 2017. His debut track “Before Drop” – included in the VA “Another World” – is groovy and energetic, spiced up by uplifting harmonies and acid vibrant sounds.
Rafyx is a project aimed at creating something different and powerful. It is an explosion of sexy and hypnotic beats with the fusion of psychedelic, electrifying and contagious effects that will put dancefloors on fire.
After a collaboration track with Mono Sapiens, released on 24/7 Records, Rafyx is currently busy with the production of his new 5 tracks EP which will be out on Reversible Records on February the 4th. Save the date.

I originally had a different name for the track, but I sent it over to @saraskinner and she laid down a slightly different idea she had that I instantly fell in love with. I think it’s kind of ironic/amusing how the track is called Silence, but it’s actually loud as hell lmao.
