We are In Focus on SHYISMA, a progressive psytrance project created by Elia Cantelli from Italy. Elia joined the psy trance world in 2002, and 4 years later SHYISMA was born with his first album "COLORS" coming out in 2014. In 2017  he released his second album "MESSAGE FROM THE UNIVERSE".  Since 2021 he is also part of Iono Music.

This Looney Moon episode presents POO-CHII and his Summer 2022 Mix, which was made from all the best tunes he played last summer. Poo-Chii started his psychedelic music journey when he was 18 and just a few years later he started organizing and DJing, since appearing at many festivals and parties around Japan, then in June 2016, he moved to Italy for the first time, and played at the HADRA Record Promotion Party. In September 2019, he signed in to Looney Moon Records, and at the same time became the first Japanese to join the EU-famous Booking Agency Quadra Booking. In 2022, he joined DMT Entertainment, one of the few festival groups in Japan. Mainly playing twilight, and select forest, dark, progressive at other times, with unique groove tempo rhythms, running kicks, tricky music selection, and a funky play style.

PARADIGM presents SCULPTED SOUNDS. Based in Los Angeles, Paradigm is an ever present figure in the tapestry of the North American Psychedelic Trance scene. DJ, event organizer and label manager, his fingerprints dot the landscape that is US Psy. As a DJ, he is known for his detailed and surgical mixing style, a well curated taste of music and the ability to weave a story through a set regardless of style or time of day. Paradigm is a “DJ's DJ”. A rare slice of the old school that still believes in the "art of the mix" and the story telling journey aspect of a performance. Wearing his “promoter hat” as he calls it, Paradigm has been involved in many seminal moments throughout the past 20 years of the Western USA: free festival Gemini, Pulse SF and later Pulse California crew, the formation of Sculpted Sounds in Denver Colorado. Few can deny Paradigm’s drive and passion for the music and the community that surrounds it and truly his name fits him as a paradigm is defined as being the dominant example or model of something. This set titled "Encyclopedic Fusion" contains 100% tracks from Sculpted Sounds, a showcase of 100% in house music from the label's artists and various releases over the past few years. On a personal note I am quite fond of hearing other genre influences in my psytrance and the mix gives a little bit of a nod to breakbeats through out its run of what I like to call "intelligent full on".
