Endeavour - Prismatic Oscillations (Preview) Sangoma Recs

KIMMEI, aka Christoph Kimmel, brings his deep and diverse musical journey straight to the Dome Zero at Ozora Festival 2025 for 25 Years of Parvati.  Hailing from the Bavarian Alps, Kimmei grew up surrounded by myth and music, from his father’s rock records to years spent as a guitarist and drummer in metal bands. After discovering psytrance at a cave party in Salzburg, he found his true path, crafting DJ sets that can be playful and trippy, deep and mystical, or straight-up powerful, always weaving a story.  A Parvati Records label DJ since 2018, Kimmei’s Ozora set pays homage to the label’s golden catalog from 2010 to 2015, the era that first ignited his passion for psytrance. This live recording captures that tribute, with an intro dedicated to the one and only Ozzy Osbourne, may he rest in peace.

⋊  One fine day, Mr. Narko took The Diatonic out for a lazy spin between constellations. A few light-years on, he met a band of funky, delirious space-pickles bent on finding someone called Rick. With nowhere better to be than drifting through hyperspace with psychedelic pickles, Narko invited them aboard.

⋊  They scoured dimensions and galaxies, collecting more pickles than sense. Along the way they knocked on a door and met Mr. Solo of The Alchemist: a radio-hungry wanderer who traded help for a spare transmitter. A pact was made, 132 pickles for one second radio, and together they plunged headfirst into a wormhole.

⋊  Stranded in a time-bent pocket of the cosmos with nothing but radios and rave spirit, they did what any stranded space-crew would do: switched on the dial and hunted for psytrance. The music found them. They danced until crash time and slept like meteorites.

⋊  Morning brought a mystery: one pickle was missing and alarms flared. Then a knock, a grin and a voice: “Space Rick, heard some sick psytrance, mind if I hop in?” He fixed the ship, helped them pilot the continuum… and still no Rick. Eventually they found The Diatonic adrift, and with it, the wandering pickle. Space Rick shrugged: delusional? Maybe. Fun? Definitely.

⋊  They never located the Rick they were chasing. They did find a radio, a new crew, endless channels of psytrance, and a wormhole that turned into a forever party. When the track The Simulated Return Of Rick’s Delusionary Pickles dropped, a bright flash erased the sky, and Narko woke in his studio, chair still warm, realising the whole odyssey might have been a dream, or perhaps a simulation dreamed by someone called Rick.

Started in early years experimeting with tape recorders and simple music players on the Commodore 64 and gradually upgrading equipment and techniques. Having CBL as his main focus and some other projects on the side there’s always room for personal reflections.

Itay KUKAN DUB LAGAN is bringing some sunshine for smiling people into the first edition of a new radiOzora show, the Sofa Beats series with a special mix following the talk.

KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN is the project of Itay Berger. Itay is 40 years old, located in Barcelona, Spain. He has been listening and playing electronic music since he was 16 years old. He spent over 3 years working as a sound engineer in one of the top sound and light companies in Israel.
His decision to make music was strongly influenced by his trip to Ibiza in 1997-8. At that time he also started to preform in Israel and abroad at mostly underground parties. Itay's general musical influences are wide-ranging. His journey into chill-out djing started in 2002 in Israel. During that time he was also signed by a UK techno-house label (www.klubdj.co.uk) under the name DJ Itay for a year and flew to Japan to play at parties in Osaka and Kyoto. Returning back to Israel, he enrolled to sound engineering college for one year and totally committed himself to music composition. Drawing from his djing experience, his early family musical influences as well as his own musical background he created his chill-out project: KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN.

From the warm waters of the Mediterranean, to the perfect Australian swells, water has always been my home, my refuge, my very core. “Underwater” is an emotional collection of the deep feelings and journeys I’ve been blessed to experience by the vast ocean. "Underwater" presents nine original tracks, three of which are collaborations with Kaya Project, Symbolico and Soru. The album will be out on Jan 25th On Desert Trax.

Gumi is a downtempo elastic journey created by the prolific Tel Aviv producer Maor Hasbani.
In the late 90s Maor was engulfed by electronic music and started avidly collecting CDs and vinyl. Genres such as Ambient, IDM, Breakbeat, Acid, Space Rock, Jazz Fusion and so on, inspired him deeply and set him on a life mission of self- expression through music and sound. By elegantly fusing bold basslines, tribal rhythms, psychedelic atmospheres and ethnic melodies - Gumi’s modern production and analog sound has set a blaze some of the best dancefloors on the face of the planet. Also responsible for the internationally renowned psytrance project ‘Skizologic’, Maor has already rocked Boom Festival, Psy-Fi Festival, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Chill Out Planet Festival, Tribal Gathering Festival, Doof Festival, Samsara Festival and Dakini Festival to name a few, as well as extensively touring Japan and the USA. After releasing two critically acclaimed EPs, Gumi is set to unleash a full debut album in 2021 presenting his new spectrum of sounds and sophisticated storytelling.
