On The Way To O.Z.O.R.A. Festival 2022

On the Way to Ozora 2022 is a series showcasing artists of OZORA 2022. Finally and again on our way to the much-awaited Ozorian reunion, this first episode featuring the artists we can expect in the Valley in 2022 presents Render. Render is the psytrance project by Ricky Casero, also known as Frequency Less (Psybreaks/ Downtempo). His unique psy style is a mix of passionate body moving fullon, wisely blended with night atmospheres and rolling bass lines. Unexpected combinations of catchy vocals and acid funky sounds make the journey super energetic and fluid for the dancer, without missing the soul and essence of the psytrance self-exploring experience. Tune in and drop out with this new mix from him packed with upcoming releases and singles.

Michael Abel-Larsen, known as DJ Banel or Michael Banel, hails from Copenhagen and is a founder and co-owner of the legendary Iboga Records, IbogaTech and Sofa Beats labels. 

With a DJ career starting in 1988, his musical journey has travelled through more than three decades, countless countries and an unimaginable number of stages. From the early acid house era of the 80s to founding Iboga in the 90s and now, Banel has been at the forefront of trends in the electronic scene since the early days to whip dance floors into a frenzy around the world.

Today you can find Banel dropping either massive techno bangers or destroying dance floors with thumping progressive trance sets. One of the international scene’s established taste-makers, Banel’s access to the freshest sounds and sense for ‘the next big thing’ has taken him around the globe from the dusty outback of Australia to the hot deserts of Israel, from the beaches of Mexico to the ice-cold midpoint of Russia and beyond. Driven by pure passion for the music and the scene, there is no sign of Banel slowing down any time soon.

Banel is also one half of the duo MVMB, releasing the full-length album The Sleeper Must Awaken on Iboga in 2016 and the follow-up Phase 01 in 2019, released on Ibogatech.

Live @ Dance:Love:Hub, Basing House, London (28 Sep 2024)

This liveset was recorded live during D-Jen's performance @ A Dance Journey February 2025 at Scheltema Leiden. 

Listen to pure energy and magical sounds for an hour long. What a fantastic evening we experienced . Everyone who was there is still enjoying this special night to the fullest. All DJ's were at their best, the audience went all out and at the right time the right beats emerged to take everyone on a journey to wonderland. 

I really enjoyed every second of it. Hopefully this will be continued, because this evening was certainly one to remember for a long time.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all who made Kingsday'25 @ De Lievelinge unforgettable! The energy was absolutely incredible, and I felt so grateful to share such a fantastic vibe with all of you.
