HYPNOCOUSTICS is the solo Psychedelic Trance project of UK based artist Joe Studt. Originally formed in 2009, Joe is one of the UK's top psychedelic producers releasing over 70 tracks across three albums, numerous EPs and singles, and having given acclaimed live performances at some of the biggest and best dance floors on the global psy-trance scene. Joe brings a unique touch to all his music and an accomplished ear honed through a background of classical music performance and orchestral playing. However it was lysergic exposure to classic Goa Trance albums, along with his love of psychedelic rock bands like Tool & The Mars Volta, that tuned him into the alternative frequencies offered by these new forms of music.

Dusan Jovcic, known by his stage name ILLUZIO, is a Serbian electronic music artist from Novi Sad. Born in 1998 into a musical family, his deep-rooted connection to sound began early and evolved into a decade-long passion for music production. Starting with tech trance and house under the alias FLEXX, Illuzio later shifted to the hypnotic world of psy-trance, where his distinctive style began to fully emerge. This is a showcase mix of STEVE OOOD’s psytrance productions under various guises and collaborations. Steve is a founder member of the band OOOD (Iboga Records, Phantasm Records, J00f etc.). He has two solo projects at the moment- 'Banyan' ( Up Records & Phantasm Records) and 'Steve OOOD' (Phantasm Records). He is one half of 'The Weavers' with Cylon (Phantasm Records) and one half of 'Banyatti' with Psydwards ( Sofa Beats & Phantasm Techno). He has co-written/produced some of Psytrance / Goa Trance classic tracks back in the 1990's, as part of 'Rotatum' (Matsuri Records) 'Unconscious Collective' (Flying Rhino Records) and 'Pharmarama' (Wider Recordings) and has contributed to many more. He has always had a mission to create dance floor ecstasy by producing truly trance inducing music that is aimed solely at uplifting the spirit and inspiring compassionate consciousness.

This is SPEKTRON's "Prima Materia" EP mix, a live set with tracks from the upcoming EP and some older tracks. SPEKTRON is the dark prog project of Vasilis Iakovidis from Limassol, Cyprus. His journey into electronic music began in 2011 as a DJ in the island’s underground scene. In 2021, he began crafting his own distinct sound within the realm of Dark Progressive.  He has released music on respected labels such as Zenon, Occulta, Padang, Parvati, and Sangoma Records. I just tried to translate it bud had to find out that it looses it’s awesomeness when I do it :/

I try to explain in my own words. It is about a boy who can remember the first thing he can remember in his life at all. His mother gave him a sparkler for new years eve. Everyone was on the streets with fireworks and it was loud because of all the explosions. But he was not afraid. He was just a part of this. He hold up his little sparkler and shake it like crazy. So intense as he possibly could or even stronger. And he was so small and the sparkler too. But he experienced the biggest and best there is on earth. He experienced the biggest and most beautiful on earth and he was a part of it. He never did anything in his life again that was so gigantic. 

I choose this vocal because I love the guy! His name isI was Frank Giering. He had such a special sad way of being which I could connect with easily. He is unfortunately dead. He died way to young.

Mayday 2017

YURY of Rf-Crew says so: “Dear Friends, Goanauts and Party People! My first mix in this year is on the way! Sunshine, flowers, a pinch of psychedelic. You know what it is? It’s Springadelic!”

It would be difficult to remember the exact details of how the team was born after so much time, but one thing is certain – the Rf-Crew is the 2.0 version of an exceptional, music-mad group of friends. Founding members and name-givers: Dj Szamy & Dj Ad-M.
The crew first started spreading their wings around 2003 in “the heart of the Great Alföld (Hungarian Plain)” and was hugely inspired by the welcome their smaller-larger outdoor and indoor attempts to fly got. This is exactly what they needed. Thanks to the initial success and motivation, the path, idea and attitude towards life that the team would have liked to follow started unfolding in front of them.

Their first bigger milestone was the Tiszaparty organized in 2006 where the visitors were no longer entertained solely by Rf-Crew DJs, but also by the whole Hungarian goa scene’s cream of the crop who made their appearance as well. A long line of Tisza-parties followed, held in each consecutive year (2006,2007,2008,2009,2010). The great news of the weekend-long mini festival spread quickly and even crossed borders. There were more than 1000 visitors at the 2008 party held on the Rákóczifalva beach. In the meantime the Rf-Crew joined forces with the other big Alföld-based group of party organizers, the Thermal Team, which resulted in a series of psychedelic parties held in the Mindszent castle-spa; the Tavaszi Zsongás and Red October and later the Summer Open Air and Psylvester as well. It wasn’t long before the Mindszent castle became the “citadel of Alföld goa”, featuring local and foreign artists such as: Para Halu, Kalumet, Aurafood, Venom Sense, Deto, Mindflow, Yarn, Snag the Sunshepherd, JIS, Big Bacterials, Parallel Dialog, Champa, Basic, The Freak Show.

The Rf-Crew continues to play a significant role in the local goa scene today keeping true to their original philosophy. The events hosted by them are hallmarked by high standards, diversity and popularity. You can find their DJs on the lineups of many psychedelic music events.

On Saturday afternoon on our way to Ozora our guide will be ROOK. Alongside his set we’re inviting you for a talk also.

Rook started his psytrance career in 2011 as DJ in clubs in his home area. Soon he started to perform at bigger events among well-known DJ names. He put himself forward in the Slovenian trance scene also because of receiving winning titles at DJ competitions.
He’s been performing at events all over Slovenia and also beside big DJ names like Avalon, Liquid Soul, E-Clip, Egorythmia, Zyce, Lyktum, J00f, Braincell to name a few. In 2012 he won the title of best DJ of uncommercial electronic music in competition Beatfest. His set was selected by reputable and competent jury.
Rook has become also recurring DJ of Ozorian Pumpui stage – this year he will be playing there for the fourth time.
Rook now collaborates at Slovenian psytrance organisation: Dreamcatcher.
