This is an exclusive mix by RAKASA, a dark psychedelic trance music project by Dean Baschnagel, originally from Israel, now based in Berlin. With roots in heavy metal, reggae, and dubstep, the turn to the psychedelic world happened when Dean was 18, after attending his first psychedelic rave in the forests of north Israel. The Rakasa project came to life around 2019 and is continuing to develop and grow with each passing day. The project focuses on dark atmospheric vibes combining with aggressive electric sounds, mixing forest with technology to create a dark psychedelic organic salad that is spiritual and energetic, straight from Dean’s studio in Berlin to your ears. This is a fresh studio mix presenting KICK BONG's upcoming new album "Just an Illusion" to be released on 7 March 2025 by Cosmicleaf Records. Franck, a musician, performer, and composer, was born in Paris. At the age of 12, he developed a passion for drums and percussion. In 1990, he formed his first band as a drummer, signing with Barclay and performing in numerous concerts and tours across France and Europe. In 1995, he discovered electronic music, and by 2001, his work began gaining attention, with his compositions featured on compilations from various labels including Spirit Zone, Candyflip, Peak, Hoots, Chillcode, Cosmicleaf, Ultra Vista, Hadra, Ajana, Sonic Motion, and Blue Hour Sound.  The Confluent Association commissioned him to create the soundtrack for a documentary on street art, titled Démarches de Rues. In 2009, he composed music for the websites of Dior and Eden Park.  Simultaneously, he performed as a DJ in many Parisian clubs such as Batofar, Triptych, Divan du Monde, Gibus, Glaz'art, Dame de Canton, Cabaret Sauvage, and Machine du Moulin Rouge.

Dive into the mesmerizing universe of Acajou, a 26 year-old artist from Switzerland, revolutionizing the hitech music scene. His passion for rapid and deeply psychedelic sounds led him to start producing hitech music in 2019, a style that defies the ordinary and transports you into an extraordinary auditory world.

His live sets, known for their infectious energy and originality, have taken him to prestigious venues such as the Hive Festival, as well as internationally in Belgium and Portugal. However, it is in his native Switzerland that he shines most often, especially during events organized by Speeding Records, the label he founded.

His career is marked by varied collaborations and musical explorations. Notably, his project Oxyaca, a partnership with his childhood friend Oxymore, delves into the realms of nightpsy, a darker and more mysterious facet of psychedelic trance. This collaboration is a testament to his ability to merge styles and create unique sonic experiences.

Formerly associated with Noise Poison Records, for which he produced a notable EP, Acajou continues to carve his own path in the electronic music universe. His trajectory is that of a determined, creative artist, constantly seeking new ways to captivate his audience.

OKAGE is a versus project by two producer, Cindervomit from the United States and Maleficium from Japan. Their very first album called ‘demons’ comes out @ irOri Music.

Above, standing upon archaic towers scattered across a desert of ash, winged demons stared into the souls of seven, curious wizards. Their endless grins and ancient eyes painted the horizon as the conjurers continued their chant, a legendary summoning of a powerful entity only known to mortals as “Okage”. The mystics swayed back and forth in unison, ripping apart the fragments of reality to invite an outer-dimensional being into their world. The earth shook as the dunes beneath their robes split open with a frightful glow, and time itself bowed down to the ominous presence laid before them. Like a violent thunderstorm, the lord laughed towards the red sky whilst stretching its arms into the dusty air, a gesture of thanks for ending its infinite slumber. The strange cult cheered and prayed before their god, preparing themselves for an incredible journey into the unknown… and you’re invited.
Okage is the psychedelic experimental project of USA’s very own CinderVOMIT and the beast from the far east, Maleficium. Together these artists create a labyrinth of atmosphere and sound design for the listener to try and find their way out of. Coming from Manouche jazz learned in his hometown of Gaspé, a pupil to the teaching of Louis Vallée, he chose soundscaping as a life project and pursued university studies in this sense. The Australian label Kinematic Records, founded by Terrafractyl aka Hypnagog aka Felix Fractal, house his rhythmic architecture. Spatial or soft, the Koala travels on the web and around our blue planet to destinations of Australia, Mexico, United States, Panama, Canada, Quebec, and probably your ears.
