Fortsetzung deep story nr. 179

Wir feiern bis in die frühen Morgenstunden. Jeder in seinem Tempo und zu seinen Konditionen. Die Stimmung ist ausgelassen und alle wirken total entspannt, als hätten sie für diesen Moment Frieden mit sich und der Welt geschlossen. Das Gras unter unseren Füßen bietet den perfekten Untergrund, um unbeschwert den Morgen entgegen zu tanzen. Manche sitzen auch wieder an der Seite und unterhalten sich und andere genießen ein erfrischendes Bad, um wieder zu Kräften zu kommen.
Es steht der letzte DJ Wechsel des Abends an. Zwei sympathisch dreinblickende Dudes in prachtvoll bunt gestalteten Hemden treten mit Gitarre und Mikrofon hinter das Pult. Der letzte Track des Vorgängers läuft aus und die Musik verstummt für einen kurzen Augenblick. Bühne frei für Pandhora, welche zum Ausklang der Veranstaltung eine ihrer berühmten Live Performances zum Besten geben werden. Ich schließe die Augen und lasse mich von den sanften Klängen der beiden Weltenbummler durch den Morgen tragen.

Mental Traveler is one of the side projects from CJ Art, worldwide respected electronic music producer and underground DJ from Poland. The MT alias is dedicated mainly to deep, atmospheric and immersive instrumental electronic music such as downtempo, psybient, progressive-chill, cinematic, electronica, chillout, ambient, meditative and world music. A sine wave of pace and mood throughout their sets includes various musical genres, increasing the pace along with the heartbeat. Rather used to live acts, for the occasion of the Hadra and Rave95 evening at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, L-XIR played a set with a psytechno tendencies but not only that... as usual he integrates dark techno and some tech-house tracks. It was also an opportunity for him to discover these latest productions freshly released on the Alpaka Music and Shadowulf Records labels as well as some new releases at the end of the set, something to delight your beautiful ears. DJ producer since 2002, L-xir is now one of the most recognized artists of the international psytechno and minimal techno scene. Thanks to the quality of his productions, he joined Team Hadra within the label Altervision Records with the release ''Percolator'' in 2019 and ''Hellem'' in 2021 but also signed on labels that are driving the alternative psy-techno scene alternative scene such as Techgnosis, Alula Tunes, Alpaka Music, Digital Diamonds.

TSUNIMAN's spellbinding trance, spacey techno, and progressive psy delights are bound by layers of the quirky and ethereal. A moodier soundtrack for when the lights go low, Tsuniman's sound alchemy blends dark hypnotic elements with bright vibrations, creating otherworldly soundscapes that captivate the senses. For the past three years, they have been a resident at Klub Verboten, an alternative play party hosted in London and Berlin. After an unforgettable b2b set at Field Maneuvers festival in the Summer of 2023, they started running their own party with Miro SundayMusiq - Saturday Club. At East London’s Netil Radio, TSUNIMAN learnt to hone their craft, inviting up-and-coming DJs to guest on their monthly show, Плазма (PLASMA). About this set, Tsuniman says: " I was going to do a more deep techno mix for Boshke Beats but then I couldn't help myself playing some oldies! Especially as some of these 90s tracks are no longer getting played, so I wanted to bring them back to new audiences' ears."

Paranormal Records presents 'FREEDOM' compiled by ELVAN through this mini mix of the VA. Mehdi aka Elvan discovered trance music in 2005/2006 with the rise of underground parties in Iran. By 2009, he was deeply into psychedelic music and started DJing, gaining experience in Goa. Since 2011, Elvan has performed at numerous events. In 2014, he pursued a professional career and enhanced his skills at S.A.E., leading to his foray into music production. By 2018, he achieved high standards in production and began working with various record labels. In 2020, he co-founded Paranormal Records with Space Wizard, releasing 19 albums from 2020 to 2023. Elvan released his first EP on Paranormal Records in 2023 and has singles on labels like Sama Recs and Dark Web Recs. He also has side projects: Adoor (night full-on) and Analog Lab (high BPM music). Elvan continues to make a significant impact on the electronic music scene.

Our cozy Island, nestled deep in a valley, surrounded by river and waterfalls and covered by green grass is hosting The Swamp stage. Hottest and most memorable part of the festival's location is home to Dark Progressive, Psy Bass, Dub, Breaks, Techno, Glitch and other various styles of music. With PSYCHEDELIC as only common denominator and DANCE as the main philosophy behind it.

When we started building Mo:Dem accordingly to our vision of festival with three musical stages, the role of The Swamp was a crucial one. Basic idea was to generate counterbalance to the faster and heavier musical styles presented at The Hive. Creating 'alternative stage' wasn’t our intention. Rather we imagined The Swamp as the extension of same psychedelic dance experience. Possibility to select between artists coming from a wide spectrum of psychedelic music gave us an opportunity to succeed in our plan. As Swamp literally and figuratively means diversity and variety, this was set as the main guideline for this stage in the future.

We are happy that we can share with you some sounds from 2017. edition. This time we are presenting you Breger.

Raunaq Sandhu aka Mr Sandhu is a Mumbai based producer who has been producing electronic music for the past 4 years. His latest release, Sadi is inspired by his memories of listening of Punjabi music when young and the elation he felt then. The track aims to fuse the Deep Tech / Deep House sound with the same. Although his signature sound, somewhere between deep house from the likes of, Anjunadeep, Lost and Found, Juicebox music and techno/deep music from labels like Afterlife, Keinemusik and Steyoyoke, has been compositions usually painted with moody atmospheres and focusing on percussive elements and subtle melodies. "Sadi" is a break from this as though breaking the surface from the state of being submerged underwater, which best represents, visually his previous releases. In his musical journey Raunak, in his childhood had trained in the dhol and guitar and the knowledge of these intricate grooves and melodies is something he is inspired by and tries to incorporate in his electronic productions.

In this month’s Sofa Beat Records show you can hear a mix by HERRHAUSEN & TREINDL!

Laid-back euphoria and slow-motion ecstasy: The music of Herrhausen & Treindl comes with rather low BPM count, but with an extremely high catchiness and danceability. It was 2012 when the two of them met in a recording studio, back then still in search of the perfect sound for others. They quickly realized that at the end of their working days there was still a whole lot of creative energy left. Their first mutual sessions turned out to be extremely productive, their musical backgrounds turned out to be a great source of inspiration. Treindl used to play the drums, exploring rhythmic structures from Funk to Hip Hop and beyond, while Herrhausen was touring with a Ska combo as a young chap. Together they combine a slow movement approach with complex arrangements, creating a style of electronic music that takes festival and party dancefloors by storm with early morning sound as glorious as it gets!

Cuban Duo, Ivan Lejardi and David Casas, are the DJs and Producers behind 
Da Le (Havana), their thirst for Deep & Melodic music infused with the traditional Cuban roots are the magic ingredients for his two-tracks EP on Chus and La Santa's new label, Redolent. Out on 18th February.

 The Duo really takes us on a trip with these two deep cuts. They blend powerful electronic sequences with the wealth of ancestral Afro-Cuban music. 

'Wemilere' comes alongside traditional ethnic Cuban chants and original rhythms, blended with modern progressive harmonies and melodic landscapes. 
On the remix duty, we have Different Age, another Cuban duo from La Havana that dives into deeper waters exploring the most Progressive House side of this EP.


'Rumba Blen' is a reinterpretation of 90's classic Latin Track titled 'Blen Blen' by all times favorite Cuban artist, Edesio Alejandro. Da Le (Havana) has rescued this song from Edesio's vast catalog giving it a second life in the form of an Afro-Esque Latin House gem.

Expanding on the values of Rumba Blen and delving into their own bank of sounds and colors, refreshing the original with exquisite taste, we welcome the Infamous Afro-House Duo from Madrid, Sparrow & Barbossa, taking the Track to a new realm. Driving bassline, outstanding synth sequences, and electronic sounds for a mature and demanding audience.
