This month's Sub-Y-Dub-Y-Doo features the Hungarian dub, dubtechno and ambient producer SUBLOGIC. The sound of subLOGIC (Róbert Varga) is drawn on the ambient, deep dub, experimental line, and its musical world is characterized by careful beats, slow build-ups, layers and deep sounds. He is influenced by many and varied musical influences, yet he is trying to be independent of styles and genres: "We all have influences that can move us in different directions, but we always try to put our own spin on our music. You start from somewhere and most of the time it comes out completely different. You control the process, or the process controls you, but the point is that you create your own sound, which is also you."

Boshke Beats presents DJ MARKKU in this episode, and describe him as " a passionate and very dedicated personality, born in Tartu, Estonia, and more than well known in Estonian night and bar life. We met Markku and his crew last year and it was our common destiny. Estonia is a small country and there are many DJs here but he proved to be the best of them all and his ear is tuned to a high level of what the dancefloor needs - he understands it so well, always versatile, psychedelic and smiling, a pure light saber and true Boshke warrior soul." This set was recorded at Solstitium Festival in Estonia in June 2023, thanks to the festival for providing the copy of the recording.

Check out this heavy and deep set from the Japanese label DJ of Zenon Records - EMIRI! Emiri comes from a family of composers, which has immersed her in music from an early age. She used to wander into CD shops in search of new sounds and learned to play the piano. Additionally, she attended dance lessons in the US where she was born. After living as a fashion model in Italy, she started organizing events in 2018. In 2021, Emiri joined Zenon Records and released her first V.A. compilation album in 2023. Fascinated by deep, hypnotic, psychedelic, and tribal sounds, she will transport you to another world.

2024 will mark ALEX's 30 years of DJing in the electronic dance music scene. He started to dig in his audio archives to find some exclusive things to share with you like DJ mixes, live sets etc. This is a rare and previously unpublished mix found on a cdr, recorded in 2005 from fresh vinyl records of this particular year season. Eclectic techno at its best, some tunes in this mix paved a road to many new genres, like melodic techno, etc. and inspired many artists to switch from the "formula" to a more leftfield dance music territory, refreshing and merging all styles in one. Alex Tolstey, DJ, record producer and director of Boshke Beats Records, which has been blending techno with trance, electro with acid house and other undefined electronic dance music styles for almost two decades (since 2001). Producing music as Triangle Eyes ( with ZV_K), The Rockitmen and Triple Distilled and working with such acts as X-Dream, The Delta, Extrawelt, Eitan Reiter, Fuzzion, to name a few, made Alex a well known producer and executor of so many albums and tunes you know. At the current moment except his Boshke Beats activities, Alex is running Horns and Hoofs Entertainment and Gravity Plus Records labels (X-Dream’s official label). He also plays psychedelic trance under Acid Black moniker and electro breaks and left field dance electronica as Triple Distilled.
