Zartrox [Brazil] is Tiago B. Jammal a certified sound designer and audio engineering.This brazilian producer Barcelona based, showed up with Zartrox in the middle of 2005 under a massive influence of the underground progressive scene in south Brazil at that time. Zartrox is pure night time psygressive music. Which can be describe as intense, confusing, fat, grooving, weird, twisted, introspective,psychedelic and above all dancing. Zartrox has incorporated one singular identity that is well know for those who appreciate and follow his work. Since his first release in 2007 he has regularly been realising tracks on labels arround the globe such as Mechanical Dragon, Mind Tweakers and Glitchy Tonic, to name few. In 2010 another duty came up, Jammal and his mate Bruno (Onionbrain) started to run UROBOROS RECORDS the first label in the American continent focused in night Time progressive trance, with quite good feedbacks so far. Zartrox nowadays is among the big names in the dark progressive scene, he is reference and inspiration for new comers talents arround the world. On this time on the road Zartrox has already played in many festivals and parties arround Europe and all over Brazil!

In this next episode of Bom Shanka Music series you can listen to the freshest works that Dj Nigel is producing under the name Aardvarkk.

Aardvark is the solo psytrance project of Nigel Shiva valley, a medium-sized, burrowing nocturnal mammal with a long pig-like snout used to sniff out food. He roams over most of the southern two-thirds of the African continent, avoiding mainly rocky areas. A nocturnal feeder, he subsists on ants and termites, which he digs out of their hills using his sharp claws and powerful legs. In his spare time he writes groovy psychedelic tunes for the night time, and does all kinds of other cool shit, including this exclusive summer 2017 Radio Ozora mix, which contains music from his upcoming releases including his second solo ep which will be released later in the summer.

Insomnia Records series’ continues with CHROMATEC.

Responsible for this project is Flo from Munich, Germany. Back in the year 1993, he get in touch with electronic music for the first time. A few years later he began playing techno @ parties around Munich.
In 2006 he started producing his own music. After discovered psychedelic music in summer 2009 while visiting some festivals with friends who introduced him to the psychedelic culture, he experimented with this kind of sound and decided to focus completely on psychedelic music production.
His sound nowadays could be categorized as deep and atmospheric nighttime music, defined by deep basses, complex rhythms and abstract soundscapes.

BMSS Records series kicks off with label manager BOOM SHANKAR. The talk will be followed with his freshet mix. Don’t miss it!

German based Boom Shankar is a Dj for Psychedelic Trance, the label manager of BMSS Records and an event promoter within Europe. Having been initiated into the Goa Trance scene in the early Nineties and by traveling the globe ever since, his sets are a mirror of the constant melting pot of fundamental Psytrance characteristics.
Whether he is guiding the dance floor through the night or into the morning, the outcome is always a voyage filled with a depth and an energy that allows the crowd to feel a sense of freedom through Trance. Groovy, deep, mature, hypnotic and clearly distinguishable.
Having played at many underground & major events worldwide, he has developed a full understanding of the flow and the energies of each dance floor and is flexible in terms of “styles”. Through his impromptu sets, he is able to interact personally with each dance floor, taking the audience on a trans-formative journey. His sets are a direct form of communication through music.

For Boom Shankar, this process of mutual giving and receiving between the DJ and the audience has led to meaningful feedback from festivals like S.U.N. and O.Z.O.R.A., Antaris, Fusion, VuuV, Glade, Summer never Ends, Hadra, Doof, Moksha, Transahara, Transylvania Calling, Timegate, Ometeotl, Universal Religion, Freqs of Nature, Trimurti, Neon and in clubs from New York to Bangkok, London, Tel Aviv and nearly every other corner of the world. Besides this, Boom Shankar is the label manager of BMSS Records where he has released 6 best-selling compilations so far: Transmissions, Transition, Cosmic Connections, the Trancendance triptych series and the Trancefsuion series featuring artists such as Aes Dana, Braincell, Tristan, Sonic Species & Avalon, Eat Static, Pogo, Lucas & Mechanimal, Egorythmia, Ovnimoon, Touch Tone, Audioform, Headroom & Zen Mechanics, Entheoegenic, Talpa, Martian Arts, Outsiders, ManMadeMan, Pleiadians, Zyce, Atmos, Cosmosis, Electrypnose, Imaginarium, Reversed Logic, Hujaboy, ShivaTree and many more. BMSS Records series continues. On the 2nd edition you can listen to label DJ, FOHAT‘s exclusive mix.

Fohat is the stage name of Christian Heyer, a Munich born and based Psytrance DJ and producer. His musical roots can be found in the 80`s underground styles of gothic, industrial and dark-wave music.
When goa trance got invented in the early 90`s, he knew from the very first moment that this music (or let`s say life philosophy) will be his musical home forever. And he never left since then.
It took him another 10 years until he started DJing in 2003 and in 2008 he joined BMSS Records as a label DJ. Amongst others Fohat is representing these days the Psytrance and Full-On style of the label.
In 2013 he also started producing his own psytrance tracks and is presenting them now within his DJ sets in creating always a very unique listening experience. A debut EP is about to be released soon.

A dedicated soldier armed with an old school hippie vibe and a pocket full of Psychedelic Kryptonite, LX-D is on a mission to ensure the roots of the Goa scene remain well protected from imposters, and the troubles of a fast growing scene.   Young but filled with enthusiastic wisdom and an ability to lead the dancefloor on a journey through time and space, LX-D has already played gigs around Europe in Spain, Portugal, England, the Netherlands and festivals including Antaris Project (DE), Gaggalacka (DE), Green Vibrations (NL) and Munay Festival (ESP).   Finally on board and signed onto BMSS Records in 2017, LX-D is the newest member of our Psychedelic family…and the upcoming season looks promising! In the next epiosde of Sangoma Records series you can listen to a fresh mix by Russian label producer, FUNGUS FUNK.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in 1998, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. Among some of the bigger festivals he has appeared at are the well-known Boom Festival (Portugal), O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, Sonica (Italy), Antaris (Germany), Transcendence (Brazil), and Hadra (France) among others.

Yebah is the most recent music project of Miguel Ferro, a psychedelic trance producer from Portugal. Engineer as profession and lover of electronic music from an early age, his connection with music production began in 2003 in the need of compose drum beats for its lyrics. He met psytrance through friends at a New Year’s Eve party in 2005 where he awoke to the most deep music connection.
After couple of years exploring and loving the psytrance concept he started to produce this musical genre. Since 2009 Miguel has been producing music under the name Amras as a darkpsy / hitech artist and in 2018 he decided to create this project and finally create the sound that always inspired him. Influenced by the sounds of nature he has been working on this project with love and devotion to provide a musical journey characterized by organic sounds, deep atmospheres and psychedelic elements. The Yebah name was chosen for being an expression of pure joy and that is what he wants to achieve on you with his music.

Tropical Bleyage is a project by Pavle Perovic (1990) and Marko Graovic (1987). They are both living in Serbia (Belgrade). Pavle is producing and making music, while Marko is a DJ. Tropical Bleyage project is formed in 2005 and since then, they have developed their music to powerful full-on trance, gifted with irresistible fusion of melodies. Their first release was in 2011 and so far they have released their music for labels like Psy-Core Records, DNA records, Dacru records,Zoo Music,Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Psytropic Records… Today they are part of the biggest Belgian psy trance label Dacru Records. Currently, their 3rd full album is ready to be released at Dacru records on november 13th 2017. You can expect a lot from their new music. Their mission is to spread a positive vibes on dance floors and put smiles on people faces.

Dacru Records is a Belgian psytrance label. The label boosts a strong selection of artists, from major names with a 20 year career under the belt to younger promising talents. The rosters includes names like U-Recken, Talamasca, DigiCult, Spirit Architect, Tropical Bleyage, Bitkit, E-Mov, Electric Universe, Aquila, Overdrive, A-Tech, Transient Disorder and more. The aim is to release timeless music with a strong emphasis on the psychedelic and melodic.
Besides being a record label Dacru has also been making a name as event promoter with over 80 events since 2001, that’s a whole of a lot of experience that goes into organizing quality productions. The events have taken place all over Belgium, from The Netherlands to Germany and even in exotic places as Thailand and include big and small indoor events, open air festivals, bus trips, 11 day pop up clubs and more. Some of the party lines include Organic Dreams, Tribal Roots, After Sunrise and Nova’s Incident open air.

In part II, coming straight from Athens, Qses likes to travel within the sounds of Ambient, Downtempo and Progressive Trance. 2011 Q joined the crew of Savva Records as Dj, Savva Records is located in Northern Germany and Support Actively the Progreesive Scence. Q was the admin of Electrocaine Radio since 2007 till 2012, Electrocaine became famous in 78 countries all over the Globe.
Q except as a dj parallel works for the world of Aviation.
