The original ‘GirlOnWax’ DJ Leanne is proud to celebrate 3 decades of DJing House Music! She spins House in many forms: Jackin' to funky, dirty, Deep (always bass-line friendly) & Vocal Tech House; her true passion! In 2023 she DJ'ed opening sets for some of her House Music heroes: DJ Sneak, DJ Heather & Derrick Carter. She had the honour of spinning on The Living Room stage at The Shambhala Music Festival (2022) and The Groove Cruise Miami (2020 & 2019). Over the course of her DJ career this far, Leanne has spun opening sets for Kaskade, Mark Farina, Kenny Glasgow, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Boy George, Armand Van Helden, Roy Davis Jr , Felix Da Housecat & Miguel Migs, to name a few. 
She has held over 10 nightclub DJ residencies in Vancouver & Victoria at The Lotus Sound Lounge, Shine, Celebrities Nightclub, Hush & Sonar Cabaret. 
In 2000 she created Western Canada’s first DJ School 'The Rhythm Institute'. Leanne's taught 500+ students with her carefully curated 'DJ 101' curriculum at several DJ Schools & workshops in the Lower Mainland including 'Table Tutors' & 'School of Mix'. Leanne began her DJ career in broadcasting and has produced & hosted the popular underground House Music radio shows 'Fresh Air' (2000-2003) & 'GirlOnWax Radio' (2013-2017). You can catch her vocals on tracks by House Music producers Jay Tripwire, Buck & Taho + she's co-produces + sings vocals with Mostly Yoshi. 
DJ Leanne is currently the CEO of the critically acclaimed DJ company 'GirlOnWax Entertainment' where she manages talented DJs & Musicians with a mainly female DJ & Musician roster. Ingrid Hakanson began a career in electronic music in 2000 when a friend handed her a microphone during his set at a party in Vancouver, BC. That began her journey as one of the area’s first live improvisational vocalists in the house music scene.

Growing up, she played piano, saxophone, and sang classical both in a choir and solo. When she moved to Vancouver in 1996, she spent 4 years fronting a rock band before becoming part of a local musicians’ collective called Bedroomstudio. This group’s blend of jazz, rock, and synthesized beats saw the release of the album ‘Submissions’ in 2005.

Since then, Ingrid has been writing and performing with electronic music producers from around the world. Releases such as ‘Out of Touch’ with Dave Armstrong (2003) and ‘Freak for You’ and ‘Luscious’ with Swirl People (2007) initially brought her talent to the forefront of the scene. For the last 5 years, she has evolved her performance to singing live to her own DJ sets, in her home town and internationally. She has collaborated or performed with Carlos Mendoza (LCG), Lumoon&Rob!n (Claire Du Lune), Asad Rizvi/Asadinho (Reverberations), Luke McKeehan (Nordic Trax), Jon Lee (Tilted/Viva), and Andy Clockwork (East Van Digital) and many more. In 2013, she also released a moody-electro pop side project EP (Echoes) with Carlos Mendoza as Canaima. She has been a staple performer at Festivus BC since its inception. She has also played at high profile festivals in BC including Burn in the Forest and Basscoast.

Ingrid's own DJ performances along with her live vocals focus on a deep and bass-centric house feel, but with a sense of playfulness and connection with her audience, and a voice with both power and a jazzy/raspy quality. With an already impressive list of releases on labels such as DFTD, King Street Sounds, and Claire Du Lune records, she will continue to elevate her status as one of house music’s most sought-after vocalists, allowing audiences worldwide to experience her strong live performances and stage presence.

BEAR-TIK is a drum and bass DJ and producer from the Czech Republic, now based in Canada. With over 200 shows in the metal scene before transitioning to heavy DnB, he has been focused on DJing and composing for the last four years.

A graduate of SAE's audio engineering program, BEAR-TIK has performed across British Columbia. He is known for his high-energy, storytelling sets that keep crowds engaged with dynamic, heavy DnB. He deeply cares about every single set, working hard on every detail, and often delivering double and triple drops to elevate the energy even further.

In last year , BEAR-TIK’s music has gained significant attention, with streams surpassing 225,000 on Spotify. His hard-hitting, energetic tracks have earned him contracts with labels, including Milleville Music, Outertone, Nahual Records, and MojoHeadz.
