Capitalist Society is the after-math of previous Street Punk/Anarcho band Civil Evacuation. Capitalist Society consist of Ex-Civil members Rezist Lill Redd, Panda and Ex-Drunken Master singer Maddi. Capitalist Society started after the break up Civil Evacuation in 2015 and released ther self titled E.P. in December 2015. I started Dr. Strange Records in 1988 as a place to get rare Punk for a FAIR price. A year later [1989] I released my 7” from a local band called Manson Youth. 25 years later we’re still doing the same; Selling Punk Rock for fair prices and releases awesome music!

Est. in 1988. Started as a mail order for rare punk vinyl. We soon became a record label and eventually a 2300 sq ft record store. 

Let me start off by saying what we are NOT. We are not a "company" or "corporation" making money off punk rock. I've been into punk since 1980 and it is truly a way of life for me. It is who I am and what I will be until I die. I started Dr. Strange Records in 1988 in an effort for like minded people to get rare punk records for FAIR prices. My "hobby" has not only turned into the biggest mail-order for punk in all the world, but also a record label (in 1989) and a store in California (opened in 1997).

We're small...there's myself, my wife Crystal and my friends: Der-Der, Chachi, Lips, Pippy, Trevolta, Dusty Dirt, and Jinx the Cat doing the best we can to get you the best "stuff" for the best prices. So please keep that in mind when ordering. We always do our best to treat others the way WE would want to be treated.
